The best part is a few of the Kings fans saying the Torres hit is dirty and should be suspended are the same ones who said the Abdelkadar hit was clean.

After seeing the hit, I really don't see any justification for more than a game or two(and I think that is being generous, because I think a minor penalty is all it deserves).

The hyprocriscy is very high at the moment. It's only a dangerous play when one of their players is injured. Any other time it's just a stupid play. "Concussions can ruin a players career"......ya think?

Such ********. That's a two minute minor. Tons of shoulder contact, very minimal head contact

If that was dustin brown, queen's fans would be falling all over themselves to bellow from the rooftops about what a clean hit it was, and for the san jose player to keep their head up next time, and not reach down to play a puck with their hand. Hell, the nhl might even call it the "hit" of the night.

hypocritical much?

Agreed, and that's exactly why this seems like a bunch of ********. If this turns into a long suspension(or any suspension), I think San Jose fans have every right to be pissed.

Jesus. Eric Staal is in some kind of pain after a knee on knee hit from Edler in the WC's. Knees are not supposed to bend that way.

Absolute *********

Torres was just suspended the remainder of the 2nd round. Un-freaking-real when you look at the hits on Lydman and Fowler.

How convenient, suspend for a full series while a Ref Wings **** gets 2 games for ending another guys series. Shanahan is a ****ing joke.

Sure Torres is a full on ****tard with previous incidents but still...

Not giving a specific number of games to be served is against the current CBA. Pure reputation call. Also going to throw this out there....gotta wonder if NBC and the NHL aren't being "hopeful" of an la/nyc final.

As I said earlier if it's not Raffi Torres it's not a suspension. It's purely because he has a history which is complete BS.

I'm loving the Bruins Rangers game. What an end to the third - Boychuk hits the post with less than a second left.

The Sharks are screwed this series. Already down 1-0. Not good.

I really thought the Rangers would win that. Lundqvist did everything he could in overtime to win the game but the team in front of him wasn't good enough.
