LOL. Well done, dude.

For the record, I do think Torres will be every bit as Cole and think that Torres/Cole is a fine comparison.

It's all about relative value. Anyone who wants Cole is going to have to overpay because he means so much to the Canes as he's the type of player they're looking to build around. They have the peices in place to field a very physically dominating, intense team up front with guys like Cole, Williams, O'Neill, and Ladd.

That said, never underestimate the incompetence of Jim Rutherford...

Milbury's been pretty quiet tradewise the last 3 yrs, since Wang's vote of confidence.let nyi fans worry about Milbury and you worry about your team.

...

agree.Unless Cole's a lockeroom problem or is too expensive for the Canes, they don't have a reason to trade him.

he's pretymuch far from a locker room cancer, and is probably the player that is marketed hardest to the local market.

but some of his comments durring the early part of the lockout may have ticked off managment, and as Vicious Vic said, never underestimate the incompetence of Jim Rutherford

I'd take that, even if the Canes are loaded with late day-one/early day-two picks already. Could always use a couple of those to trade back into a 2nd round.

If I got to play Risebrough I'd turn that down.

What the bloody hell are you on?

Minnesota is weakest in goal, with only Harding having any prospect of making the NHL. They have a ton of depth down the middle with O'Sullivan, Wallin, Bouchard, and Courchaine (move to wing).

They have some good wingers in Veilleux, Irmen, and Voloshenko.

They have a ton of defense in Stokes, Reitz, Michalek, Burns, Stoner, and hopefully Bolduc...

They are probably weakest at wing and goal but still mangeable.

Irmen to me, would be the best bet instead of going after Cole.

To me Vrbata hasn't show me a ton to warrant Bouchard (who is finally picking up steam) and Burns (top 4, top 3 defenseman)...
