I don't really have much of a doubt that he wouldn't be better player than Viitaluoma. Nice to see how playing NA season has developed hes play / how that displays in big ice.

4-1 for Finland.

Kontiola, Pesonen, Savinainen, Salminen with the goals.
Granlund with 2 assists.

This is a tough one, I love both teams!!!!

but, I think the Finns are too strong, so 4-1 to Finland.

Stakes just got higher when USA lost to Slovakia.

I expect Finns to bring their A-game and looking forward to see Granlund in Leijonat jersey again. PP2 should start clicking at last.

5-0 Finns.

I expect Latvia play their best game of the tournament, in front the packed crowd and when they are without pressure, last game against strong hockey country.

I also expect Finland to be seriouse here, it has so much meaning. With win its Slovakia against us, with loss Russia.

Sooo.. sounds like a good game. Hope so!

If Slovakia hadn't won US, this game would have been much more exciting. I still hope that Latvians will come out motivated and ready to kick some ass.

Either way, the Big Bad Bear is avoided.

I dont really care about the score of this game cause we are not getting in quarterfinlas anyway. So i just want to see a good game and an honorable end to this, not so good for us,WC.

Would rather had played against Russia and against Swiss in semis. Now it will be either Canada or Sweden... Oh well we can always lose this one.

Finland will purposely lose today's game vs Latvia...

This will enable them to play USA than Switzerland...

If Finland wins they will meet winners of Canada vs Sweden....

its been done before by these European countries..it will be done again...

Just win and gain a good chance to go to semis. I predict 2-1 to finns.

Done before by "these European countries"... Finland has never lost on purpose and will not do it today either. Get your facts straight, we're not Swedes.

Lol, finland has and would never lose on purpose.

I think we can have easier opponent on gold medal game by winning. We haven't really struggle to win semis, the Final is where we have been struggling..

Finland never loses on purpose, even when it would bring an easier opponent in the next game. Too much pride for that. However, there are European countries that don't mind doing that.

Anyway, I'm really not sure if Slovakia's an easier QF opponent than Russia. They're getting into their game while the Russians have huge issues with discipline.
