Team Satan > Team Kristo

We always play better when we aren't the favorites.

Not bad performance by USA, but you have Bishop and Slovaks got Staňa. And that's the huge difference!

If for some reason Finland lose the game vs Latvia, then Slovakia will play against Russia in 1/4

God damnit, USA! You have Gibson shut us out and have Bishop hand the game to Slovakia... Why don't you want us in the quarterfinals?

Just kidding, I don't care. In fact, I'm happy with the increased chance of seeing Gibson start going forward.

This tournament is just too bizarre. Any team at this tournament can either win the Championship or lose badly on any given day. Uncanny. I think this is the direction the IIHF wants to go with this tournament and encourages every country to limit the number of "serious" players on each roster. That's my theory anyway..which the Russians don't generally pay attention to, except for this year...but could account for why we see mass rejections from players... I don't know...there's just something going on here underneath the sewer that is the IIHF.

Well, I take back the kind words I had for Sacco..... Why on earth would he start Bishop who has been at best average?

So I'm looking at the IIHF lineup sheet, Galchenyuk played with Oshie and Stapleton? Who was the C, Galchenyuk or Stapleton?

I didn't watch, but Stapes took the draws. He was 5-for-11. You should check my lineup in the first post, most of the time I get the positions right thanks to the faceoff stats.

Didn't get the chance to watch the whole game but from what I saw pretty dreadful from the US, such as bad giveaways, lack of drive to the net, missed chances, and bad goaltending.

Hopefully Gibson is the starter for the US from now on because Bishop has been mediocre at best.

No sure if serious but this sounds comfortably beyond unlikely.

I really don't believe these tournaments are 100% on the up and up. There's something rotten in the state of Denmark. I love conspiracy theories.

Tut tut, Finnish media (ilta sanomat) reporting that US players wee spotted out on the town Monday night, and were possibly hung over during the game. Guess the US players are taking this tourney seriously....not.

If I were you, I'd concentrate on finding a reason why Slovakia couldn't beat mighty Austria, or mighty Latvia. Just saying.
