I figure the sooner I stop thinking about that last series, the better my mental health will be. Your mileage may vary.

This is a team that the penguins must not underestimate. Great goaltending, not the best offence but will make you pay for your mistakes like they did to montreal. Should be a god series.

Just happy to not see the Islanders in Round two! Holy crap, that was the worse match up the Pens could have.

nevermind

Sens are a different team, let's see if the Pens can handle them better.

Anderson is a tough son of a *****.

the sens roster is kind of wrong Latendresse likely wont play again for us, and greening plays on zibby's wing, and Kassian plays to Smitty and Niel. Hoffman returning should replace kassian

Cheers to a good series. Hopefully Pens fans will be a break from the whiny Habs fanbase (with the exception of a couple individuals). Senators fans aren't really expecting a win, we're ecstatic we even made the playoffs.

Hopefully it's a clean one w/ great hockey.

Good luck.

I'm not sure if posting random twitter accounts is allowed, but remember to follow @melnykeugene. I expect the Pens to step up and show why they are the cup favorites against the Sens.

I'm hoping for some combination of:
  • We learned our lesson: Don't under-estimate your opponent
  • Phew! We got that 1st round monkey off our backs. Now we can get on a roll.
  • Islanders just matched up really well against us and they were the perfect opponent to have to beat to prepare us.

Sens are a lot different than Isles. They're big but not explosive. They're much better on defense especially with Anderson.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I have to agree with Milbury. Start MAF on Game 1.

Arguably the three best players in the world plus the best goaltender in the league.

This series will go down as an all-time good series. Calling it now.

Every match-up is different. Hopefully we match-up with the Sens a little better than the Isles. Anderson won't be letting in softies half the night to keep us in games like Nabokov did at times.

Agreed. I think Morrow will play better against this type of team. He wasn't matched well against Isles because of speed.
