Do you think your GM would be willing to trade the 28th and 45th pick in the 2013 draft to move up to pick 21?

Considering Nonis has expressed interest in moving up at the draft, I'm not sure why he would do this.

Ducks won't have the 28th pick because picks 27-30 go to the four teams who make conference finals. Ducks pick is going to be 24-26...they will only move up or down based on who is available at the time.

If you move up after the top 3 then its because someone is available. With the draft still being over a month away its impossible to know if someone the Ducks covet will fall down to 21.

Id rather stand pat at 21 than trade down to 28 for the 45th.

Forgive my ignorance but are picks determined after the conference finals? Not after each round? IE a team that continues into rounds 2 or 3 may still end up picking before a team the eliminated the the first round? Wouldn't it make sense to distribute the draft positions as the rounds end. For instance the 8 teams who lose in the first round are seeded with picks 15-22 determined by their regular season point totals?

Think I'd hold my hand. Somebody interesting might fall to 21, and then there we would be with a big smile on our face.
