We have a couple near us who always yell "Hit Him" on every play. They also yell "shoot the puck" when there is no reason to yell that.

I block them out of my mind.

I enjoy MOST of the people who sit near me and the guys who work for the B's are cool. Also have gotten to know the faces of some of the folks who work for the Garden and have fun with them.

As long as I can afford to go and are able I will go. I have learned to ignore the fools...usually. It's just like on this board...There are just a couple of posters that annoy the hell out of me so I just laugh at the posts and move on. It has been working for me.

My buddy (season ticket holder) is the worst.
"GET IT OUT! GET IT OUT!" at one end and then "SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT!" at the other.
I just laugh it off.
My biggest complaint is the people who go back to their seats during play.

We much sit near each other.....we have one guy a couple of rows away whose entire vocabulary seems to consist of HIT HIM, SHOOT, SKATE delivered non-stop and not necessarily in line with what's taking place on the ice.

Regarding the invasion of the pink hats...when we moved back in 2006 and bought our seats there were many a nights when the real attendance was 11,000-12,000 and the building was dull ..as was the product on the ice.

Today- we have a group of 10-15 people who all know each other and have been there since the "dark days"- going is like seeing extended family. The biggest change is the one-game a year person who- regardless of score- MUST get on the Jumbotron. Irritating as that may be, its a small price to pay for the team we have now

With that said, while I love my view from section 313 row 8, I think this is the year that I make a move at select-a-seat. Perhaps a slight upgrade in cost if it's justified. I love my view from 313 row 8, but I might like a move to the middle or a touch lower
As someone who was in section 311, row 8 for a few years and moved up to section 311 row 7 a few years ago I can say that there is a huge difference between row 7 and row 8 at least in the corner balcony. Row 7 is the first of the short rows and we hardly ever have to get up and down being on the aisle. And the people in the middle aren't climbing over a ton of people to get out. If you can move up a row I would say to do it but it may be difficult depending on availability

i think its mainly my section. im last row balcony 328.
I just think alot of those seats get sold on stubhub.
i also just couldnt take the long drive back and forth anymore.

This past half season I think i only went to 5 games. And selling all my games i didnt go to on stubhub was too time consuming.

We thought we were just better off not renewing and buying like 5 games on stubhub a year.

I did go to 4 playoff games this year. just buying them on stubhub.
all wins
one in each round.

Pink hats have nothing to do with it.

I've been going to games for 35 years.

in every single era the place erupts in "SHOOT" every time someone has a lane or they are on the PP.

This is not a new nor pink hat phenomenon

The three seats next to me are sold on Stubhub during the whole season. I don't recall seeing the same person there twice during a season.

It's always fun to see who will be next to me any given game...
- an opposing team fan
- a Bruins fan who has never been to a game
- a fan who actually knows more players' names besides Chara, Lucic, Seguin

One fond memory is the fan in the section who called Jaromir Jagr... with the J pronounced like jammies... That became a fun sarcastic saying for our row for the rest of the season.

When did you sign up? My buddy signed up for 2 the day before they won the cup and he still doesn't have them for next year.

If they make the cup 2 out of every 3 years...probably never.

One real bad season and everyone waiting will get in.

I hardly ever go to the games anymore, so my family is the beneficiaries of me having seats. It's tough getting out of work on time and I have small children that were born after I become a STH.

I'm considering getting out but I still go enough to make it worth not buying tickets off stubhub for the games I can get to. My family wouldn't be too happy with me either.

Well....for comparison the people who signed up for season tickets for the Sox in 04 are now getting them.

I get that your buddy is obviously a huge fan since he was willing to commit $200 to the team the day before game 7 of the SCF but since they have only missed one SCF since the deposit was placed it might be a little while.

My guess right now is that he will get the call around the time Hilary is running for re-election....maybe

I signed up for Sox in December 2008 and was offered Sox season tickets a few weeks before the season started. I could have had full, half, 10 game pack, they said there were locations in all price ranges. I still turned them down.

My buddy who signed up a month or so after me was offered a 10 game season ticket pack a couple weeks after the season started.

Sort of gives an idea of where they got to this year.

3 I think. But could be 3:30. The last one is at 6:30. It's much more condensed this year than past years. I'm thinking about not going. I usually get in early, but I won't get in till 4:30.

Thanks. Was going to listen to reports here and then decide whether to go in. Have 4:30 slot.
Probably blow it off.
