1 thing about Gomez though is that he always played well in the playoffs, and he played well while he was here too with his 18pts in 26 games

It's a hockey player that's playing in the playoffs and that's still being paid by a team that's no longer in the playoffs

I'm not sure Karlsson was aware this was number 87

Sens playing the same way they did against us. Only this time the opposing team can score on their opportunities.

Again, I can't help but wonder how the sens could do whatever they wanted against us with no call and do half of it vs Pens and there's a penalty instantly. Habs get no respect from the league anymore.

EDIT:

Rofl, sens score another no angle lucky goal that should not be a goal in any league.. stupid team

I don't know if the Sens actually scored a nice goal these playoffs. It's seriously crazy.
They get a bunch of softies go in, they miss their shots and it goes in, and they score off their skate.

Its not really biased, its that the NHL officiating is so inconsistent that some team is inevitably going to get the shaft from it, especially over a short period of time like the playoffs.

This year it seems it was the Canucks' and Habs' turn.

Its part of the general backdrop of random happenstance in hockey, like goaltending hot streaks and injuries that mean the concept that the truly better team will be the winner a 7 game series a laughable proposition when subjected to real scrutiny. Playoff success is all about being fortunate enough to good and lucky at the right time of year.

Dr Recchi went ahead with a little known surgical procedure on the sens called the horseshoe implantation.

Anderson looked like garbage on that goal. Of course Crosby can put a puck through the eye of a needle so he makes goalies look bad all the time.

Really glad MB did not trade any of our top 6 picks for a rental this year. Pittsburgh, LA, Chicago one of these three are winning the cup. Habs need to build some depth with picks then they can look for rentals when they become contenders.

Yeah Anderson didn't look good but as you said, Crosby can really just put it wherever he wants to. It was actually really impressive from Crosby to recognize the cheat from Anderson. Man.. 2005.. we came so close to hitting that jackpot.

Truth.

And now we have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds (is it?) to discuss in the upcoming draft. Can't wait to see that.

People blamed the habs for not getting quality scoring chances and lots of useless shots but so far it's true that Pens are doing the same thing, and they have so much more talent... difference is that Anderson is a lot more human now.

heh, Karlsson sucking again.

rofl, Crosby hat trick. What a player.

We are never going to win the cup with dd and plekachu as top 2 centers. Both of them must leave.
