As we saw in the Ottawa series...the reg season is indicative of what will happen in the playoffs.

Bruins would have beaten our ***** if we played them in the playoffs.

I get why people get annoyed over the Penguins-love but as I watch this game, I can't help but me amazed at their skill. Crosby is just on another level and Malkin has really impressed-he has the ability to control the overall tempo of the game and his vision is incredible.

I thought it was wide but Vokoun got a piece of that.

Imagine if we had kept Vokoun all those years... imagine Pierre Houde pronouncing his name every game for the past 20 years.

I understand Karlson's coming off injury...but I've heard so much lock jaw on him and Letang while hearing PK isn't in their class and I simply don't see it.

It's always fun to watch the pens talented guys. They try to make plays. Not just dump and chase.

Karlsson has gotten a lot of flak these playoffs and rightly so but I find he's had a good game tonight.

And man bear pig scores ! Pens up 1-0 woot.

Well one thing I can confirm from this serie, Subban is at a whole other level defensively than Karlsson and Letang.

King Karlsson gets a -1 while being a spectator on that nice shot by the pigman.

Far far from being a safe bet. If Pens beats Sens in 4 or 5, are you gonna say Isles are better than Sens? No, if you're reasonable. You speculate that Bruins would have basically destroyed Habs. So since Leafs almost eliminated these Bruins, does that mean Leafs are way way better than Habs? No, if you're reasonable. Matchups make a difference; conditions, circumstances, contexts and events within a series can dramatically change the outcome. You cannot claim to know how a series between A and B would play out based on a series involving B and C.

I don't have a crystal ball. I just don't think we would have won. Price was meh, the defense was weak and the Bruins have had good defense and goaltending this year. I think they would have been a more difficult opponent than the Sens.

Agreed. But saying Habs would have probably lost is different than saying that Habs would have had their butt kicked (the interpretation I had reading your comment). That was my point.

Perhaps. But we got our butts kicked by the Sens. I could have seen it happen against the Leafs or Bruins. I was not high on this team going into the playoffs.
