Yeah to be fair though every swede is either in school or at work at this time so it's up to Swiss and Czech people to show up IMO.

This is just miserable. Has to be Sweden's last WC in a long time.
I wonder what the ticket prices are. They must be just ridiculous.

Empty seats everywhere. Hardly 1000 people in there. They should have given tickets away for $10. Everything is better than this.

Play-by-play guy: ... ITs Vinneborg..

Commentator: Oh..

A combination of that and unfortunate scheduling, I'd suppose. 1 / 2.30 p.m. on work days isn't exactly fan-friendly, either.

The ridiculous thing about the prices is they don't seem to find - or even look for - any balance. When the WC was in Germany, the prices weren't quite that big, but still too high. I still got to see 3-4 games as they gave away free tickets (especially for the less attractive games, but also for Russia...) in masses at some point.

Because they play 2 games at Globen at the same day. So they can't start too late cause the other game can't go on past midnight. It's all because of IHHF though. They choose to play all the QF today that's the problem. Would be better if they played 1 GM in Helsinki and 1 in Stockholm today then 1 each more tomorrow at better times.

They should play the games at the same time then, 18h / 21h or something like this.

Specially Sweden, but neither Finland should've been restricted for deciding their ticket prices if they host tournament in future.

It would help if they hosted the tournament in one country, lowered prices, and didn't schedule 4 games in one day.

The IIHF is the dumbest organization I have ever seen. (and this is based years off listening and watching to them say and act)

Agreed, or schedule them at more suitable times like another poster said

Switzerland is pretty good, too many penalties though.

And the crowd really is embarrassing.
