I was hoping to see a Brodie-Subban pairing, since both are great PMD. I expect a 4-2 win for Canada!

Are these official lines?

I really though Justin Schultz would be scratch and Dillon would stay in...

And schwartz would only play if there were injuries???

Yes, they did. Not sure about the defense outside of 44-76, though. I thought they might want to keep Schultz in to play on the PP, but they have Subban now for that. I'll put Dillon back in.

Dave Randorf ‏@DaveRandorf 12h

Subban partnered with Jay Harrison. Expect that Mike Smith will be starter in goal. @HC_Men #TSN

Dave Randorf Dave Randorf ‏@DaveRandorf 12h

At @HC_Men practise. E. Staal now on line with Duchene and Eberle. Staal does not have a goal. Subban on 2nd PP unit. QF vs SWE tomorrow.

If Dick Axelsson's hockey career doesn't work out he has a great porn star name.

Wait, when did we add Jaden Schwartz?

It's pretty disappointing that Tavares wasn't added, but oh well. They should win, but after watching them choke every year, I'm not expecting much.

No kidding!!

I just went through Canada's team in pictures. I keep getting surprised how many big names joined this year.

There is nothing fierce about this battle. How many goals Canada will win by is up to Canada

This is still Sweden we're playing, with practically the same team that almost got stunned by the Slovenians. Don't take a loss for granted, you never really know what Sweden or what Canada will show up in a tournament this short!

Subban on 3rd pairing with Harrison and 2nd PP?

Is that just to ease him in chemistry wise?

I'll give Sweden a 10% chance to win. Sedins and Eriksson must play close to 30 minutes for it to happen though..

Well that and the fact that Jhonas Enroth must steal the show in some epic and completely stunning way far beyond his capabilities making Buffalo fans whine the whole coming season when he will resort to flopping around with his worst GAA ever.

Is it just me, or is Canada's projected 2nd line as good as the first one (no big fan of Giroux though)?

Slovakian fans were singing a similar tune last year heading into their quarterfinal with Canada.

In name only really. They haven't had 1 solid performance thus far. Down 2-1 against Denmark going into the 3rd period and then the Sedin's made all the difference in the 3rd period.

But ok, if Belarus could beat our stacked olympic team...anything can happen. If the Sedin's and Enroth have the game of their life in a Tre Kronor jersey...Sweden can win this or atleast make Canada work for the W
