Against but just barely. In the unlikely event that they play the Sens I would have to bite the bullet and pull for the Bs. Anyone else anti.

why would any REAL fan cheer for the team that put us out?

I'm cheering against them because if they keep on winning and maybe the Stanley Cup, other fan bases will always bring up the Leafs meltdown in Game 7.

For, I like their team. They are sort of like us except more seasoned, a bit bigger, but less fast/dynamic.

Also, I just don't like the Rangers. Much prefer the Bruins.

Against, don't think I'll be able to watch any series they're in until they're officially eliminated. I would just feel like it should have been the Leafs there the whole time.

I have a strong dislike for Boston and I can't say as I think much of the Rangers, either way.

HOWEVER, a part of me can't help but think that the better Boston does, the better it reflects upon the Leafs. I know it's a flawed analysis to say that because Boston is only a little bit better than Toronto, and Boston beats NY Rangers handily, then the Leafs must also be better than NY Rangers. That reasoning does not necessarily follow. That's not the way match-ups on the ice work in the real world.

So while I acknowledge it's a flawed analysis, it's still one that you can't completely put aside. It tugs, it pulls, and hotly blows in your ear with a sly, enticing smile, just the same. You can't ignore it -- and you are lying if you say you do.

Cheering for Boston is a tough way to put it though. I'd rather say that I would rather Boston wins. But "cheering"? No. I can't close the deal on the use of that verb to describe my motives concerning the Bruins, sorry.

I'm cheering for Boston to win the East, but I don't know if anyone is beating the Hawks or Kings this year.

Neutral here. Not gonna cheer for or against them.

We choked hard, not going to blame the Bruins or the city of Boston for that.

Yeah, pretty much this. I mean I'm bound to know how the playoffs are going, I'm just not watching.

If I had to answer I'd say against Boston, but don't really care that much.

I want them to play Pitt, but I do like the idea of Iginla winning a cup. Bergeron's a beauty as well though.

In these scenarios, I just want players I like to do well like Bergeron, Thornton, Datsyuk, Iginla.

Against. If NY advances, our draft pick moves up one spot.

If only they could both lose. I'm cheering against for obvious reasons.....but i am also NOT cheering FOR the Rags. The thought of Torts winning bugs me, that and Sather should actually feel some reprocussions for the crap signings he makes.

I don't care about the playoffs anymore aside from wanting Boston to get crushed.

Yes I'm bitter.
