On Magnus: If he plays with Yakupov and Gagner full time and Gagner wins 48% or more of the faceoffs he takes and if Magnus gets a little more physical he'll look very good on that line.

On Brown: He's probably the most competent enforcer we've had on our team since... man.. it's been a long time. You could get away with giving that guy 4th line minutes even in a playoff game. That can't be said for Hordichuck, Eager, Laraque or Strudwick.

On Hall: Talk about having a gift for stating the obvious. And the shout out to Gagner was nice, too.

On the salary cap: This guy's a dork. We have a few seasons with the cap going down and then salaries are all based on revenue and by the time that happens the salary cap is probably going to jump up to 68 mill and continue to increase due to rapid inflation and increase market growth in smaller markets.

On Torres if San Jose doesn't resign him: Sign him for a 1 year 1.5M contract to play 4th line minutes!

On players in the Memorial cup: I kinda get the feeling that Zarkov is the only guy of the bunch listed who've got a shot at significantly improving their value unless Jones does a huge choke job.
