Lucic's chest pump after goals..

I noticed he started doing it during the Detroit series. It's been really bothering me because I can't fathom a reason to why he does it , I wonder why he just decided to do it?

I don't know why he's doing it but it makes people angry and hate him more so I love it.

I think it is more pointing to the logo or banging on the B emblem. That is more how I took it. Krug has done it as well.

Exactly. It's just a reaction. No need to look too far into it.

I love when Krug did it in Game 1 vs Habs. Lucic made Krug a great pass

I also like to theorize that it is partially inspired by Victorino doing it in the playoffs last year but maybe that is just the romantic in me.

His haters think of him as a neanderthal, so why not kill them with giving them what they think of him.
That said, I'd be doing the same and/or kissing the logo.

Pisses off over-sensitive fanboys so I love it. Looked funny when Krug was doing it though

My brother said that Subban did it in '11 when he scored the late goal in game 7, but I don't recall that.

And Looch is doing it in response/trash talking.

As far as I can remember Subban put his hand to the ear Hogan style after scoring that goal.

I just checked it and he didn't do it then. He could have been talking about a different goal.

Yes, he did. I don't recall any logo- or chest-thumping.

Bobby Mac on TSN just explained it. It is from the movie Wolf of Wall Street, a buddy of his in the AHL told him he should do that when he scores, so now he does.

Junior players do it here every goal, or they grab the crest

Pretty sure this isn't a "look at me" kind of thing. Loads of vets on this team who wouldn't put up with that if it were the case IMHO

The fact it gets people pissed off is why he should do it throughout the playoffs. People getting mad at little **** like that is stupid, and you should aggravate those people as much as possible.
