Despite Chicago being the best team in the regular season I still think if Detroit upsets them they won't beat LA, Pittsburgh or Boston.

Lundqvist will snap one of these days. It's basically up to him to win every game since he's not getting any goal support.

Also, simultaneous double high stick. Eminger on Seguin, Seguin on Kreider.

I still think the hawks take it but they should really get their **** together.

Devastating way to lose for the rags

They're was a lot of high sticks in this game . seemed everyone was bleeding at one point. Also I would say Lundqvist lost it for them last game.

Is it me...or are the Rangers just bad...

They have so many moments in games where they just seem to not care or try hard. There was a PP early in the game where the Announcer was yelling at them for how bad they were lol

D2M and I were talking that Ranger's PP will be the death of them and how Tortorella should be the main guy at fault. This isn't only one season it has been bad, but his whole career as the head coach of the Rangers, the powerplay was never good. Rangers are done though, after that lost the whole bench and crowd were just deflated.

McGuire was going ballistic on the bench though, lolololol.

Glad we gave up on Boychuk, he turned out to be a total throwaway...

The Rangers are awful and they should feel awful. And the Caps lost to them

Kings don't seem to like Galiardi. Which means he's playing well.

Seems like Gali's returned to form. He's played with Thornton most of the year, and is back to his old pest like ways in this series against the Kings pissing people off.

Good for him, always knew he could get back to that level of effectiveness.

Yeah I just wish it had been here...

In that SJ series...I thought we were witnessing the birth of one of those "playoff guys"

Me too, but I'm happy with the better player in McGinn.

They are not a good team. They have a good defense and great goaltending but Torts should be axed and their offense is horrendous. The fact they made it to the second round is a pretty harsh indictment of the East.

Fixed that for ya. The Rangers only had to beat one team to get to the second round, not the entire East.

The East playoffs was a crapshoot. Other than Pittsburgh and maybe Boston, there are no elite teams in the East. In the West you have to deal with LA, Chicago, Anaheim, Detroit, SJ, St Louis, Vancouver (as good as Boston IMO)...these teams are all better than every team in the East except Pitt and Boston. NYR making the playoffs doesn't indict the East; the East indicts itself.

Oh, I'm definitely not saying the East is/was good, I'm just saying that NYR advancing to the 2nd round is not the indicator that the entire East is bad (which it is, really - how long until Vokoun turns back into a pumpkin? He was horrid in Washington, with no worse of a defense in front of him and a much more defensively oriented system under Hunter). NYR advancing only indicts the team they beat. Just watching the games, it's clear which conference has the stronger playoff field, immediately, and I'd wager to an untrained observer. I wouldn't be surprised if the Eastern Conference champion gets swept.

So this Johnny Boyhuck fella has 4 goals in 10 playoff games for Boston. The last player to do that was a certain Ray Bourque.

There's a lot more for Defensemen to do than just score goals.

Johnny Boychuck should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Ray Bourque, unless that sentence is, "Johnny Boychuck, you need to get out of the way, Ray Bourque is needing to get by."

He's a scrub and should only be used sparingly as a winger on a 4th line with Kyle Cumiskey. We absolutely had to trade him to Boston to clear room so we could sign Daniel Tjarnqvist. /

In all seriousness though, this and watching JC destroy the physicality of every dman he touched the last four or five years he was here chapped my hide.

Hahaha , this is why I love him. He's so passionate and weird, and even made it funnier when the rags kept doing the thing he says doesnt work over and over.

Well, these playoffs have proven Rick Nash is completely overrated, just like many thought. Not sure why people expected otherwise. He's a soft, one-dimensional floater. I get that the Rangers are not a good offensive team, but this guy gets paid the big bucks to create offense and he doesn't do it. You'd think he'd realize he'd a big guy and can overpower people but he doesn't play that way.
