Agreed.

My biggest complaint is Reebok not producing a true on ice authentic.

OT in Boston

Pulling for the Bruins to win the series, but want to see this last six or seven, so I guess I'll pull for the Penguins in overtime.

And the Bruins take an absolutely commanding 3-0 series lead.

Pens are just not good enough and the east is still a joke outside of 1 team that knows how to play D and is a Cup favorite for 4-5 years now.

Maybe my favorite photoshop of the playoffs. Freaking hilarious, better than the Ovechkin controller disconnect IMO.

meh vokoun hasn't been bad. the real problem is that pitt can't play defense without sacrificing all their offense

The last time Boston had a 3-0 lead in the ECF, a certain team from a certain town skated away with the Cup in Pennsylvania.

Just sayin'

Yep. Don't think the Bruins will choke this one away either.

Luongo rumours already being thrown around with Pittsburgh maybe looking at him to shore up their horrific goaltending.

So let me get this right Pittsburgh might be looking at Luongo to help beat the Bruins in the playoffs. Lol...um 2011 SCFs.

Well then... it'd be an entertaining move to say the least. I wonder what they would want in exchange for Lu from Pittsburgh.

Why is Vokoun being bashed so much?

In these playoffs he has a 2.11 GAA and a .931 SV%, those are damn good numbers. He had the 1 bad game in Boston but it happens. He is not the reason the team is losing, they have scored 2 goals in 10+ periods of play against Boston, no goalie can win with that futility in front of him.

A bit OT, but I'm trying to get an idea of who the best defensive forward role players are on each team. I tried to set up some criteria to eliminate the more offensive two way guys in the league, and the young up and coming offensive guys.

Basically hoping to get mostly bottom six guys who's main role is strong defensive play, though it's ok if someone is a bit of a tweener on a 2nd line or something. Even if you don't think your team has any strong defensive forwards on the bottom lines, please mention who you think are the best of the group.
  • Player can be a pending UFA - As long as they are currently with your team
  • Player must be 23 years old (as of now) or older - To eliminate young offensive two way players like O'Reilly or Landeskog
  • Player can not have more than two 40 point seasons in the last 7 NHL seasons - To eliminate the Bergeron's and Staal's

If a few of you have time to stop by this thread and add a couple names, that'd be awesome. Try to limit it to the two best guys, but if you feel the need to add more that's fine. Thanks for any info you feel like sharing.

Vokoun is their only Goalie in the franchise worth anything...

their problem is Team D and the D core. Their #1 D can't really play in his own end and they never replaced Scuderi or the 09 Gill
