Cracks me up that a team with goalie issues gave up the Vezina winner for a 2nd and 2 4ths.

Per Committed Indians, Bergeron has been in the hospital under observation since the conclusion of Game 6.

Looks like he has a punctured lung. Scary stuff.

Jagr and Ference aren't being re-signed by Boston.

have (arguably) an even worse cap situation than we do. Jagr was definitely not coming back and Ference was an expected cap casualty. I'll be interested to see how they handle Horton and Rask.

Like Shaw going back on the ice?

Some say brave, but I'm going to call it stupid. Their choice, but as I fan I'm comfortable judging them without knowing all the details.

I think Armstrong and the Blues take that Shattenkirk deal and run. Nice work by Armstrong, looks like that culture he's been developing the last few seasons has really taken root.

Shaw had a cut that while I'm sure hurt like hell was largely superficial.

I couldn't deal with a broken rib after three days and I sit in a seat and operate machinery all day. The second anyone checked me I would have been crying for my mommy.

Bergeron is nails.

That was more than the cut, though, man. That damaged his entire cheeks as far as swelling, pain, etc. I know that feeling. I get comparing that to Bergeron as far as there really is no comparison, but that was more than just a painful cut. I'm surprised his cheek isn't fractured.

If the report on Bergeron is true comparing that to Shaw is ridiculous.

Bergerons injuries are life-threatening, Shaw is not going to die from a broken cheeck and a couple of cuts.

Hockey players are warriors, more so then just about any other athlete, but there is a line to be drawn and you life needs to be that line.

Look at their cap geek for the year following. Next year is pretty much their last chance with this roster.

Might be misremembering, but didn't Shaw have two broken ribs?

Punctured lung is crazy though. I hope Bergeron gets out of this okay. Can't imagine the pain.

Shaw and Bergeron were not comparable injuries, but the decisions to play through them might have been similar.

Swelling in the head can have some nasty and very dangerous consequences a few hours later. If they were positive he didn't suffer a concussion and the the swelling was not going to be a problem up high on the head, then I don't have a problem with Shaw playing.

As long as everybody heals up well, it only goes down as a bad idea that worked out just fine.
