Bobby Ryan could get traded at the draft, that's interesting

Talk in the Trade forum sounds like Schneider might be on the block. Smart move by VAN if true.

It's hilarious because anything gillis does now is just bad. He's backed himself into such a corner with his goalie situation and the awful contracts making things worse.

Man, Hawks beat Detroit their last season in the West, then win the STANLEY CUP. Meanwhile Vancouver has won 1 playoff game in the past two years, have a totally inept front office, their superstars are aging and are less productive. Great time to be a hawks fan!!!

LOL at Gillis. The best part is all their fans who bought into what he was doing last off-season and are ready to lynch him now.

It looks like at least Horton, Jagr, and maybe Seguin are leaving Boston.

Couldn't they keep 1 of Horton/Seguin?

Tell me about it, couldn't have dreamt of such a perfect season six months ago! I just read HF Boards with a smile on my face now, knowing anything more positive for the Hawks is just absolute gravy at this point.

Yes. If anyone acquires him, that means that team paid out the ass.

Could see Seguin traded for a young, top pairing d-man.

Supposedly TB is interested in Seguin. But if I"m TB - I do not trade the #3 pick for Seguin. I think the #3 pick will be a better player.

Yeah... Holmgren seems like a 17 year old kid playing NHL 13, that someone suddenly gave the keys to the Flyers organization to.

Bruins got 1st rounder in 2010 (Tyler Seguin) + 2nd rounder in 2010 (Jared Knight) + 1st rounder in 2011 (Dougie Hamilton)

Seguin is good young NHL player and Hamilton looks very promising (Knight has had his career derailed by injuries). Seguin also helped Bruins win cup as a rookie (Came up huge in game 2 vs Lightning in ECF)

And really the talk of down year for Seguin was a bit wrong from media IMO.

48 GP with 16 goals + 16 assists is pretty damn good for a 20/21 yr old playing his 3rd year in NHL

With Kessel and his contract/poor attitude the B's would never have won cup IMO

At end of day they scored a great haul for a guy who is a defensive liability and not a franchise talent (IMO)

Seguin is a fantastic hockey player and he fits perfectly in Boston. Don't get how hawks fans, who saw him play for 6 games, can say otherwise.

The Canucks aren't getting any interest in Luongo and seem unwilling to buy him out - apparently they're now shopping Schneider.

I think there is a limited window as to how long Kessel will put up with the volume of hot air coming out of the mouth of the idiot Leaf captain.

However, if the Leafs want to keep throwing out a line utterly incapable of playing defense as their franchise line, that is quite satisfactory to me. Is there anything funnier than both Kadri and Kessel floating around out near the blueline?
