I'm also gonna say that Letang has clearly lost a step from last year. He used to be able to get back and make up for those mistakes at the blue line.

When I said that people berated me.

I don't think he's slower as in lost a step, I think the groin is going to bother him until he can have surgery or something. Might miss the beginning of next season just to get it to 100%

Good to see James Neal pacing himself.

Sutter needs to sit. He brings nothing. Zero. Jack Squat. At least Joki can win faceoffs.

Orpik is playing great, as is Martin.

Great two periods IMO. I am impressed to see the Pens having a strong game in a game 2 for once...

Also agree that while Sutter hasn't been AWFUL, he hasn't been very good. Time for JJ to have a game.

Otherwise, this has been a very solid game, with most guys playing real well, offense AND defense...

Yup for all of us that fairly blasted him for his play in the regular season, he deserves credit for bouncing back so far, hopefully the time off was what he needed and wil be able to play dominant d with Martin the rest of the way

He's mentally tough. That's all there is to it. The 1st goal was awful and he wasn't exactly Patrick Roy on the 2nd, but it's like he hasn't given up a goal all game watching his body language.

Greening just said the Sens don't think Vokoun is a number 1 goalie

Sniping a jock strap with 3/4 open net, biffing open point shots that have to get to the net, and on the same PP Vokoun stoned Greening Iginla made about 2 or 3 boneheaded plays. It's not ridiculous. You disagree obviously. Call it seeing it differently.

Vokoun gave up 2 Fleury goals. But then he stopped 2 breakaways.

I'm so conflicted.. i wish he would just stop everything.

has Iggy ever had nifty moves, I never really watched him that much, he doesn't seem to have stick handling skills, I mean the average player would elevate that puck,

I really like the guy, I can see his contribution, but is there hope that I will see any magic moves from him in pens uniform

I guess they don't have a number 1 offense then.

sure same with Malkin... ne needs shoulder surgery before he can get his uberpowerful shot back. Crosby will need some more time to get that facemask off. Neal probably isnt skating as well as he could be... its the playoffs and everyone hurt is playing through it

It's good to see Niskanen's game pick back up from the first round.
Certainly helps playing with Letang though.

3rd and 4th lines have been good tonight.

Great tip by Morrow, great patience on the shot by Sid.

Sens goalie looks shakey as hell. If this goes to OT by some miracle.. i still like the Pens chances.

I feel for EK a little. He needs to strengthen that ankle. He cannot push off with that authority. He looks miserable out there. THey should have left him out to not make it worse. It's going to be one long summer of painful workouts.

I'll admit it.. didn't think he could up his level.

Yeah and makes up for it when he makes a mistake.
