This occured in my hometown at the Memorial Cup. The trophy awarded to the best Junior hockey team in the Canadian Hockey League. I am not posting to flame or cause any grief for mods. I want people to see and hear the reaction from the hometown crowd. A proud moment for me.

She's an accomplished singer and a very nice person. Apparently only given short notice to sing it. But if you don't know it, TAKE THE WORDS WITH YOU!
It was certainly a terrible performance, but I'll give her credit for not walking off the ice. I've seen this video many times since the other day, and the part that gets me the most is when she starts making up words that don't even exist in the song or hte English dictionary..
You should always have something with you to jog your memory though.
However, the all-time WORST rendition of the U.S. National Anthem was by the police officer in Chatanooga, TN during a service for officers killed in the line of duty. I can't get it on youtube right now, but someone should post that one..
