True Blue...heading to U2 Tonight at CAA????

Figured we'd meet up either today or tomorrow for a brew if your going.

That goes for Fletch MJ and anybody else but I know TB is a big U2 fan and I know MJ won't be caught dead in CAA.

Not at a concert at least.

My liver really misses those beers with the HFDS though. Alcohol purveyors, the REAL victims of the lockout.

True 'dat. Though when you consider the path we were heading towards, the entire HFDS would have been 12 steppin'.

JR,
Yeah, I'm going. But I am not going to get there until right before the show starts. Something about this thing called work and "gasp"....client meetings.

To the rest of HFDS,
Anyone up for a summit anyway?

Melrose, Fletch & JR,
Anyone going to or wants to go see Velvet Revolver?

Where is VR playing, and with whom?

Does VR even come on stage at the time they are supposed to? Or do they come on 1-2 hours late like when they had AXL as a singer?

U2 will also be returning to the metroarea in October. They'll be at MSG for a couple of shows.

I'm out of pocket for a few days...

getting married Saturday and am away the following weekend, so I'm pretty much grounded for a bit (and really out-did myself drinking the last month). My next concert was supposed to be a Jaco Pastorius tribute, but I can't even do that.

By the way...anybody here anything in regards to Tool or APC? Was talking about it last weekend and just was wondering if APC is going to make that third album with the current lineup. I'll probably find out something from my boy this Friday, but was itching to know now.

I'm not complaining that the tix were too expensive, but by the time I got onto the website, I was too late to get any of the cheaper tickets that I had the money for at the time. Sucks being unemployed...

I saw them twice last time around. I wish I had gone to the Achtung Baby tour! That must have been incredible!
