If you were to make a starting line of the best players from the early 2000s, who would be the star forward, defenseman, and goalie? And Why?

OT: Do you guys like these threads? Should I continue to make them?

I'm assuming by "early 2000s" you mean 2000-01 through 2003-04.

So I have two sets of teams for you:

No minimum GP:

Markus Naslund/Mario Lemieux/Ziggy Palffy
Nicklas Lidstrom/Raymond Bourque
Patrick Roy

Keith Tkachuk/Joe Sakic/Alex Mogilny
Chris Pronger/Al MacInnis
Dominik Hasek

Minimum 200GP for skaters, 160 for goalies:

Markus Naslund/Joe Sakic/Ziggy Palffy
Nicklas Lidstrom/Al MacInnis
Patrick Roy

Keith Tkachuk/Sergei Fedorov/Alex Mogilny
Chris Pronger/Sergei Zubov
Martin Brodeur
