Jamie Heward?
John Slaney?
Brett Hauer?
Jayson More?

That's true.. whoever hasn't seen Theo play he's no Brodeur when it comes to puckhandling to say the least.. he's even more brutal with his stick then Hasek was.

As a Flyer fan:

Leon Stickle

His name is usually followed by the words "that m-f'er..."

The only three things that have ever made me cringe as a wings fan...

"Patrick Roy has been traded to the Colorado avalanche for..."

Then, "Oh my god! would you look at the hit Lemieux put on draper?! He's not getting up!"

and finally, "Bill Ranford has been traded to the Detroit redwings"

...
Seriously...what was holland thinking in the last one?!!! Ranford stopped being a good goalie around 93. He practically handed the Avalanche each victory they got in the second round of the 99 playoffs against the wings.

For the Sens...

"The Maple Leafs hit the ice for this all important game in the playoffs"

Daigle
Ya$hin
"Barasso will bring much needed playoff experience to the team..."
"...taking a shot on Lalime from the red line!"
Jason Spezza's toe curls at the blue line

The stoppages between play are way to long and the nonsense that goes on in the arena during the stoppages ie" marketing, promotions etc.(if you go to Flyers games you know what I mean)

When the ref breaks up a fight before it even gets started

Yeah yeah, Kamensky had a huge series for the av's that year but you have to admit that Ranford was giving up about 2 really bad goals each game. Just when the wings tie the game up he'd let in another about 30 seconds or a minute after the wings would score to get the avalanche back into the game. It was a miracle we even won 2 games that series.

Trust me, he's horrible when he handles the puck. If I was a coach of the team and was playing the Habs tonight I'd be dumping in the puck, hoping Theodore plays it and then be forechecking like mad. When he has a lot of time he can be okay (he did have time on the empty net goal he scored) but put him under a little pressure and hospital visits in Montreal will probably go up.

Oh I know. Believe me. But he's not in the realm of the truly horrible like say Arturs Irbe, Chris Osgood and Curtis Joseph.

TSN hockey broadcasts have a lot of things that make me cringe; then scramble for the remote....

3. Pierre Macguire whining about refs. Kudos that he's not biased about who the calls are against, but can he watch one game and NOT do this?

2. "So Brian, what's the coach thinking here?" Yes we're all dying to know what Brina Burke picking up with telepathy via the Vulcan mind-meld with a coach he's never met. Glittering insight here we come...

1. No contest here. "We go now to Glenn Healy for his thoughts." Seriously, does this guy not get tired of being wrong? I can see the value of having different points of view and the fact that you're trying very hard to be ESPN, but is it too much to ask for an intelligent and articulate person? There have been tons of guys who have retired from hockey and gone into broadcasting, and the best TSN can come up with is Glenn Healy? He's won nothing, accomplished nothing yet he's going to tell us how winning teams work. Ye gods.
