Concerts are another issue -- they can be fun if you're with the right people or just really appreciate the music.
Everybody has their preferences. I don't like the regular club scene. I go to actual DJ shows around town, and I go for the music. I usually go sober too. Sometimes it even comes to the point where I need my bass intake .

Escapade Music Festival is another story. Best weekend of my life last year. Can't wait for this year. Meet tons of new people, just have fun and listen to great music.

DJ shows are a completely different animal. I've been to a few, and they always left me impressed. But you go into those things with a different expectation. When I'm going out with friends for drinks, I have an expectation of a fun time, but one where we can hear ourselves speak. When it comes to live music, not so much.

I agree, going with friends, I much prefer doolys or something like that.

Anyone ever check out Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter? My friends want me to play it, but want others opinions.

I don't like clubs or bars. Too loud and too many obnoxious people. Gimme a nice, low key pub any day of the week.

I find that most big venue concerts are horrible because no one knows good concert etiquette. I've been to quite a few shows in my life and the small venues are always 100x better than the big ones.

Speaking of concerts, I'm seeing The Tragically Hip in June!!!!! I got lucky because tickets sold out really fast. They're playing in a really small town in a hockey arena that seats less than a thousand. I'm so excited.

I love festivals, and hate the "clubs" the Island has to offer... Purely because their awful, and the boy to girl ratio seems to be about 639364:1. And I know about 95% of the people who'll be there, It's like "No, I used to think you were a ***** at school, don't even look at me"
