I'm sorry but, PC gaming is always going to be better than console gaming. No console is ever going to top PC gaming, ever.

No sports games on PC. No good online shooters on PC. PC is only good for Skyrim, WoW and LoL
But if you wanted to set up those consoles and play the games you paid for you theoretically could. With this new console, if the servers are down, you don't get to play.

As for the sports games, I agree. There really aren't many available for PC. At the same time though, I wouldn't want to get a console on the basis of just sports games, and also many of those sports games really don't offer anything other than roster updates year in and out.

Alternatively, the PC gets the added benefit of all the MMORPGs as well as all the high-end strategy games. That's a trade I'd gladly make.

Not sure what online shooters you are referring to though. All the major ones are available for PC, and far better to play with a mouse than a joystick.

I own a lot of games for both PC and Xbox 360, and other than my computer chair being slightly more uncomfortable than my couch, the PC offers a better experience.

Anyone else see the EA Sports Ignite video?
Is it just me or do the people look less realistic?

As for the Xbox One needing a daily internet connection....well to me it comes off as a bad business decsion as it really effect people in rural areas. I don't get why they would alienate that core of customers.

Apparently the Oklahoma tornado's power dwarfed that of the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima

Ya i can see that people a problem in the future but also fixable. At least the servers will be up for another 10 years, hopefully.

Sports games offer a whole lot more than roster updates. EASHL is very similar to a team pvp. Attributes, leveling up, different classes, strategy, playoffs, rankings etc.

My experience of online pc shooters = Mods, standbying, server lag and no one else online.

I am jealous of the MMORPG's and RTS games PC has. I still play Diablo 2 a bit.

Tell me about it. I've been starting days before and doing it in hour increments until the last day.

We needs a new Around the NHL thread BTW.

That has to be a misquote. What if you want to take it on a roadtrip? Or if another Hurricane Sandy hits and it knocks out power for over a day?

I have a dilemma... What do I wear to the game tonight?

A. Kuba Jersey
B. Gonchar jersey Tshirt
C. Cheap screen printed old school white jersey.

I vote A. Jersey always tops everything.
