I'm cool with this. Good attitude and this past season was the first in some time where I felt the Sabres weren't playing scared against certain teams. If Scott played a part in that, cool.

Scott seems like a good teammate, and his interview drop-ins are hilarious. Glad to have him back for another year.

Me gusta. He was good entertainment, on and off the ice, in a generally non-entertaining year for the Sabres. His hockey skills aren't bad, and he doesn't take minutes away needlessly from younger rising players.

Seems like he's really good in the room, and towards the end of the year didn't seem totally out of place as a 7-8 min/game 4th liner.

Good move, IMO.

No issues with this. Not jump for joy, but not "crucify them" either.

No problems with a one year contract.

Needed with the young team they will be icing. He will make teams think twice before taking liberties with the kids.

Just a waste of a contract space. Other than KOing Thornton, what has he done this year? I understand we didnt sign him for skill and all, but whatever

Flame away

It's a one year contract on a team that's already way below the cap. Not an issue.

Didn't he lose a lot of his fights last year?

I think it was more a reference to the 50 contract limit rather than the salary cap

Looks like I'll be in the minority here but i'm not a fan. Having Scott in the lineup basically kills the effectiveness of the fourth line because the coaching staff needs to protect him so much defensively.
