More from Geno's dad: "Son said 'If I were ever to leave Pittsburgh, I would go to the Rangers or the Canadiens.'" (Via SovSport)

Gino or Gino's daddy can dream all he wants. We have no room and Malkin is too big for our team.

did anyone check to see if his gloves are on the way?

But having Galchenyuk and Malkin on the same line would be sick!

Never gunna happen, and honestly, I don't care how amazing he is, I don't think any player is worth that high of a cap hit.

omgomgomgomg

Someone Photoshop me a picture of Malkin in a habs uniform while I go order a jersey with his name on the back!

But that would be seriously sweet if he ever signed with us.

Just lending a thought to what it would cost Montreal to land Malkin makes my eye twitch.

Would be astronomical

8 years puts him right around retirement age? Sounds about right.

I loled.

I expect this to be the cover of Journal de Montreal tomorrow. If not, I'll be disappointed.

One can dream. He would electrify the bell centre.

I can imagine the collectives gasps and screams as he dangles through guys to score.

Being a Habs fan has made me cynical. I can imagine Malkin coming here and topping out at 60 points a season just because that's how the last 20 years have been.
