Torts played in Sweden in 81-82 (I think) and by all accounts, he was a maniac. Oates wouldn't stand a chance.

Accidentally clicked Tortorella, but Oates would destroy him in a fight. Not even close here.

Tortotella is a manlet. He wouldn't even reach Oates' chin.

Oates is bigger and played much higher level hockey. IMHO that means he gets the nod.

Oates would win, guy was a professional athlete. Torts is just an abrasive guy with a big mouth.

Tortorella easily. He was a goon and still is a goon. He coaches like one.

He didn't make the NHL because he was a 5'6" thug. Bad combo. But Oates isn't huge.

We're not talking about who's the better player here, we're talking about Torts' game.

Tortorella may have been a pint-sized fighter/agitator in his hockey career, while Oates was the furthest thing from that, but just looking at them on TV these days, it looks like Oates is still fit and strong, while Tortorella looks a bit haggard and soft? From that TV-viewing perspective, I'll go with Oates. But of course, no real idea.
