Blades won't be able to come back from a 0-3 deficit.

haha. I just read that first part and thought maybe you changed the channel for a minute. He was not good on the last 2.

Blades just seemed to really fall apart after that dirty hit on their guy. Took two dumb penalties and are just all kinds of confused and unfocused out there.

No, but I have no idea if he is a different relation of Travis. Darcy, Kelly, and Nolan are Travis' brothers.

Dunc almost got burned there. Missed on the sweep check ala Jones. Just one of those little things that these young D need to get a little better at with speedy players.

Another bad penalty by the Blades. Looks like they're just throwing this game away.

These Blades reminded me a bit of the '67s in the 2005 Mem Cup. Totally outmatched, but managed to do a bit of damage. Good showing by Siemens to get a great game in against the juggernaut Mooseheads.

I told my fiancée that I had a special evening planned for her. When she asked what it was, I told her I was going to grill her a burger, and we were going to watch the London-Portland game. She's not excited, and I think I'm in trouble for some reason.

Funny... I told my GF nearly the same thing and she responded... "So we get to see Horvat and Jones again!"

I told my gf the same thing.

She said, "What about your wife?"

I answered, "She won't be playing."

I can't beat that. The only thing my wife responded to the entire Memorial Cup so far is some play-by-play where the phrase "Siemens comes on the backside" was uttered. She thought that was amusing.

Wish the Blades were still playing. I mailed them a custom hockey card on Tuesday with Siemens in an Avs jersey hoping to get it signed, maybe he'll get it before they clean out. Had his stats on the back and everything.

Duncan played the final 2.5 games of the Memorial Cup with a grade one sprain of his right MCL. Played through a lot of pain after injuring it partway through the game against Halifax last Sunday.

This makes me like him even more. So stoked he's an Avs prospect.

Me too. Told me the first game he played with the injury (Wed. against Portland) that he could hardly even cross over because of the pain and because of the brace he was needing to wear.

Warrior I have played through that same injury (had both grade 1 and 3s in my time) and it sucks! It is amazing he looked as good as he did those final games. I still found myself really liking his skating ability during those games as well... I can't wait to see him in Lake Erie next year.
