Make it 3-1 with a commanding win and ruin their hopes.

Listening to commentators tonguebathe the Bruins for being up 3-0 and then talk about how Ottawa has a chance to even the series up tomorrow night is painful.

The situation is so different than it would have been, if only they had held on for less than 30 more seconds... with a powerplay... argh.

This is a must win game for the next series. If we go 6 or 7 and the B's end in 4 or 5 they'll have a big advantage goin into the ECF.

I really don't want this mistake of Bylsmatic proportion to come back to haunt the Pens.

5-2 Pens. Pens then take a 3-1 lead, then finish it at home.

I will just hope against hope that this doesn't come to pass. But Morrow isn't there, so if we are just talking precaution as hypothesized, probably we can at least suppose that if Jokinen is indeed in, Glass will be out. With Morrow on the third and Kennedy moving back down to fourth. That looks interesting, and I wont bore anyone with how frustrated I am with Bylsma's enduring second line idiocy.

I would be really looking forward to see Sid and Malkin double shift and have Jokinen Sid/Malkin Kennedy on the 4th.

Other than Orpik Martin, our D-pairings are torture for me. A mere continuation of Bylsma's desire to pair like with like, rather than make pairings where players compliment each other. That is a weakness for him pretty much throughout the lineup, and to me the main reason why we are less than the sum of our parts, whereas one should always try to make fits that makes lines more than the sum of their parts. Cover weaknesses rather than having them magnified. We don't do that and its been too long to expect that to change.

Anyway, lets go Pens. Don't let this series get dodgy also, please.

Solving Anderson is very doable IMO....
Put some traffic in front of him. Just takes timing for the smallers, and guys like Morrow should just park himself there.

In game 3, I can't remember any situation where Anderson was screened and couldn't see the puck.

Can we just send Beau down to Wilkes Barre for their game tomorrow? No sense wasting him here when he can be playing meaningfull minutes down there.

Oh wait, he's 21 right? Maybe Wilkes Barre's coach told Dan to keep him, since he doesn't trust him either.

You play the best 12 forwards. Beau/Jok are just that. Get Sutter/Adams/Morrow/GLASS off for a game. Send a message (to Sutter) that his atrocious play isn't being unnoticed.

Oh wait, again, DB is the coach. Sorry. I'm too busy watching Saad play 1st line minutes and half of the Sens roster be impactful rookies.

Solving Anderson is like solving any other "great" goalie. Score and get in their heads.

We do it to Lundqvist all the time. Score fast and early, that way you know you can do it.

If we don't we force too many passes trying to set up the perfect play.

Can we please stop overrating Beau bennet? He had 1 pretty goal first round and was as effective as Sutter and Adams the rest of the way, if not less so. Sutter wins key faceoffs. Adams is a veteran PKer. Glass is a joke, agreed there, but Beau was very unimpressive last round-sorry.

Pens in 5. I am sticking with my "guess the score series prediction." I am ranked 1st in points... I know what I am talking about.

So you are saying that to score on him, we just need to score on him?
I don't know man, seems like there's a bit of an egg-hen thing going there...

Or perhaps the concept is loaded with more meaning than I can decipher .

I don't think folks are over-rating Beau Bennett in saying that he should be one of the top (probably right behind JJ) options to insert into the lineup when someone is injured or is not playing up to par. The guy is a ROOKIE, and yet still played for a good part of the regular season as well as, if not better in many ways than, about half of our top-12 forwards. SURE, he struggled some in the few games he played in the first round, but why he's not being cut any slack in terms of needing a little experience to get "up to speed," from a playoff perspective, doesn't make sense to me. He is CERTAINLY not a liability, and even if in a couple of games he DID have no more offensive impact than Adams and Sutter (which is true), can you disagree that if he were given the chance to get his playoff legs under him, that you wouldn't expect him to begin to produce offense more prolifically than Adams and Sutter -- and CERTAINLY more offense than Tanner Glass (who has been inserted into the lineup AHEAD of him?) Can you honestly tell me that you don't think a Morrow-Jokinen-Bennett line, for instance, is a BETTER FOURTH LINE for this team, in this playoffs, than a Glass-Adams-Kennedy line? I'd argue that something like Bennett-Jokinen-Kennedy could be a THIRD line, with Morrow-Sutter-Cooke being a good checking/defensive/cyling line.

SO many options, but I can say with CERTAINTY that if it were my team (which it's obviously not), Bennett and Jokinen would be playing, while Glass (and whichever other winger is struggling the most at any given time) would not...

We threw away game three. Come out and dominate them in game four. Prove it was a fluke.
