I think Ottawa plays very similar to the Isles here w/ desperation. They know if they win this one, they make this a long series. I actually do think the Sens pull this one out and I think a lot of Pens fans will be pissed. I'm thinking 4-2 Sens. That's the vibe I get. Vokoun is due for a game where he doesn't look amazing. The Sens are due for some lucky bounces.

The only way for the Pens to figure this one out is simply to be the team they are destined to be. For how good we played Game 3, look at the players who are not playing up to their level: Morrow, Sutter, Iggy, Jussi now is back in the line up, etc. Those guys can dominate if they just play at an average level. Right now they are playing at such a piss-poor level it's unreal.

The main guy - Vokoun. I am going to feel so bad for him if he lets up a few goals today because he's been a monster for us. Game 3 was not his fault at all. If we don't lose our minds, he gets a shut out in Game 3.

Ultimately - I sense a 2-2 series and a 4-2 Sens win. If the Pens come out hot, I'd love to see it. This team just hasn't really done that. They've made it difficult on themselves every game so far outside of a few blowouts to the Isles.

For those upset about the pigeon use...

It sure backs up your feelings on this game, so...now it has to stay.

Gotta make it come true.

If they really run Letang-Niskanen and Murray-Eaton, then I don't even know.

That particular team really had no business being up 3-1 anyway considering who they were missing from their lineup. All that happened was Crosby and Malkin's absence and the team's inability to score without them eventually got exposed. Not sure the coach could have done anything to stop that from happening.

I don't like how he's handled Iginla or the PP last game. I also didn't particularly care for a shaky defender like Malkin being on the ice in the final minute when you need to prevent a goal more than score one but coaching is a tough gig. We usually only dwell on the coaching errors and take any positives for granted.
Some people will piss-n-moan about anything less than a 16-0 run through the playoffs.

It is what it is. *shrugs*

This series has been much closer then it should be. But everything comes crashing down tonight for the sens.
Hyperbole aside, I like your 'vibe' for tonight better than Cole's.

Rossi (I know) is on Pens HD radio right now saying that Jokinen has had an injury problem that has kept him out of the line-up. He suspects it was a really deep bruise on his thigh that was painful and limiting his mobility, possibly from that hit he took early in the series against the Isles. He also says he doesn't think Vitale is ready to go.

And, if Morrow is ready, who comes out, Glass or Kennedy?

Letang and Despres should be a pairing every game. They bring out ther best in each other. Tanger plays much better when he has to be the "responsible veteran". We could also really use Despres' mobility out there honestly.

Huge game tonight. We were better in Game 3, now it's time to win Game 4 and take a 3-1 lead!

Then who stays at home?

Hopefully Tanner Glass.

Vitale did not miss GM 3 because of health reasons, was told he wasn't going to play by coaches that morning. #pens

It's Rossi... so i take it with a grain of salt. I also remember a shift where Vitale looked injured. So.... i'm not 100% sold.

But seriously, I think my hatred for DB has reached levels of MT. It's embarrassing. Everything was working and we were winning.

I wish someone in the media would actually question Bylsma on some of these decisions.

Interesting tweet by Rossi, since he just said the exact opposite on an interview he did on Pens HD Radio.

That top 6 played fine together and by far makes it the most balanced lineup we could have. Our coach is a dolt.
I agree with this a 100%. Just wait till the dolt goes back to MAF. If we had a coach with half a brain this series is 3-0 right now.

I'm sure his answer would be, "I don't discuss the lineup"

Bylsma, as usual, declines to discuss injuries or lineup issues

Bylsma suggested Vitale not as strong on face offs against #sens as he was #isles

The Vitale vs. Glass thing is like that ending in Zoolander.

I feel like Will Farrell right now. I just want to march into Bylsma's office and start yelling "They're not the same ****ing player!!! AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS!?!?!"
