What's weird is that in Claude Julien's career, dating all the way back to Montreal, his playoff series' have either ended in 4 games, or 7. The one exception is the forgotten Sabres-Bruins series back in 2010, which ended in 6. But other than that, it's always 4 or 7.

With Montreal: 7 game win against Boston, sweeped in 4 by Tampa

With Boston: Sweeps over the Habs and Flyers, 7 game losses to Montreal, Philly, Carolina, Washington, 7 game wins against Montreal, Tampa, Vancouver, Toronto. Then the one anomaly, the 6 game victory over Buffalo.

I don't think the Rangers have what it takes to push this to 7, but who knows. We'll see how Julien approaches this and how the team handles their psyche.

Fully expecting this to go 7 now. I'll still take the B's though.

If the Rangers win Game 5, I say they win the series.

So he's basically a cup-winning Boudreau

"Rangers avoid the sweep, so they win the next 2 games"

How can you think that??

I thought the Rangers would split the home and home, so I'm not surprised or nervous.
Go B's!

I'm surprised we won a playoff game in OT. I think we're like 3-13 since the 05 lockout.

I must say the OT goal was very nice. Good for the Rangers to overcome and get a win. I Still expect the Bruins to win before 7 games, however.

Richards is like a turtle suffering a hamstring. Dude is done.

Precisely why I said IF they win on Saturday, lol.

Because if they can win in Boston, I'll regain some confidence in them.

Too soon to predict four games in a row for the Rangers?

If? All of a sudden you don't think we're good enough.

No, he thinks we're losers. That's what he told Reilly.

What?

We heard what you said.
You said we were losers, we didn't deserve to live.

so statistically he's do for a game five close out win then?

It is always uneasy losing games in the playoffs but I am pretty confident the Bruins will close them out before we see yet another game 7.

I still think that the B's are going to win game 5, but it was nice to see it at least get that far. Pretty sure I wouldn't be terribly worried quite yet if I were a Boston fan. It's only happened 3 times before and I'm pretty sure it won't happen to Boston twice.

Go B's!
2 goals that shouldn't have been goals extended this series. Actually surprised at how lackadaisical Chara was when he got pick pocketed.
