Reggie Leach. The reasons aren't necessarily limited to point production though certainly that is a reason. He had untapped skills but needed a better situation and joining two eventual Hall of Fame members in Bill Barber and Bobby Clarke was an ideal situation for him. He also played with Clarke in Juniors. They had an established relationship which was a bond that was emphasized off-the-ice, too, and Leach's much publicized issues with alcohol, and family, was something that Clarke tried to assist through their friendship.
