That's exactly my point, and it's human nature. The exact same thing would be happening to me or you at this point.
It'd be like a guy at your work blatantly cheating to get a raise, while you do your job properly, well and fairly, and he keeps getting promotion and raise after promotion and raise. You're going to get frustrated and you're probably going to blow up eventually. It's what happens.
Ok but my point is that they shouldn't let the refs get to their heads like that. A championship caliber team wouldn't let it happen.
I've played, too, yes the refs have been bad, it's up to the team how they handle, it.
They can say, oh well lets move on, or they can do what they have done and have a meltdown. It will always be the retaliatory that gets the penalty thats nothing new. So don't retaliate or be the aggressor. Either way the refs haven't lost the game for the Hawks because they aren't playing for the Hawks. The Hawks need to get over the calls and play their game, how they let the refs effect them is on them.
I'd love to hear how they're supposed to get over it, when they have to deal with it every shift, of every game. They're constantly reminded how ****** the refs have been. You're playing a losing game, no matter what, because no matter what they do, they won't the calls and the refs are oh so eager to throw the Hawks in the box.
**** this team, this isnkt the same team as the regular season, and its not because of lack of anything. The other team is in their head, and they are completely away from their game. We look like the ****ing Canucks out there.
We also lack mental toughness and determination. There's no "**** you this game is ours" mindset with this team. They just don't have it.
