It was a pin-point snap-shot that he got off extremely quick. There was no wind-up to it like a one-timer. It was a great shot without question.

But you have to look at the whole play. Toews made an absolutely perfect pass. The beauty of that goal was the two of them together. I would say it is arguably the best goal of the playoffs so far but it's as much Toews as Kane.

So it's being reported that Subban will be awarded the Norris. Probably should have been Suter, but what a year for Subban.

It should be Suter all the way, but whatever.

Subban had a spectacular year. He's quickly becoming one of the best players in the league.

suter probably should have won it, but i'm ok with subban getting it.

as long as letang didn't win it. would have been a complete travesty if he won.

Preds sign Josi to 7 years / $28 Million deal. looks like they have their top-pairing locked up for eternity.

Teemu Hartikainen and Leo Komarov head to the KHL. does this signal the end of European fourth-liners in the NHL?

Leo Komarov will be missed in Toronto. Great pest player for them. With Hartikainen, don't the Oilers have to release him to let him go? Or can he just bolt?

Not too surprised. If you aren't a top 6 talent, why not stay home/closer to home and make the same or possibly better money?

I guess but he was pretty good for the Leafs in the games he played, surprised they didn't try a little harder to hang onto him

Philly trades a 4th for Mark Streit's UFA rights. Philly also included some dude named Shane Harper (apparently their third-best RW prospect after Straka)

Can they even afford to sign him? Does he even really help their defensive weaknesses?

MacKenzie thinks Bryz and Briere are going to be bought out this summer.

Another summer of sweeping changes in Philly, I guess. But ****, at least they're trying. It's all cookies and juice and sleepovers at Mario's around here when we fail to achieve our objective for the 4th year in a row.

I'd rather be in our situation than the Flyer's.

I don't know, maybe missing the playoffs completely and potentially being in the bottom five would have gotten Bylsma fired.

And starting the off season over the cap? Perfect scenario.

Hey, if Bylsma winds up getting fired any time soon, maybe Shero should think outside the box and bring in someone from North Korea?

http://deadspin.com/my-week-with-the...team-512306903

If they need motivation, what better than Juche? If they need accountability, who better to provide it than Great Ruler Kim Il-sung?

Well that brightened my day up. Philly being Philly. Giving another 35+ contract out to a guy on the downside of his career.

LOL Philly. Streit was awful in the series vs the Islanders. Now they just need to overpay him and i'll be happy.
