To me he seemed as interested as all-except Domi (I thought Domi played lazy).

I sat behind his dad for a bit and overheard him saying to another that Jacob was finally healthy.

.
It was me and my Dad sitting with Jammes father (hes from my old mans hometown). Yes he said Jacob is finally healthy, which Jacob confirmed after when we were talking. That being said, I think it might be in his best interest to get traded to the East where he'd get a better chance to shine. He's a very nice, intelligent kid, who I WANT to cheer for, especially after talking to his father, but I can't see him getting good minutes on this club, this year with the depth in front. I think he can play in this league with a bit more confidence and fire, but you need ice time. Either way, classy kid who I hope it works out for.

Also, as someone mentioned earlier, keep an eye out for Cooper Rush...huge, good speed and good with the puck....dunno if he's a good candidate for an OA defence spot, but he impressed me today. Hope he dresses Friday night!

Casual observations
Marner will be a good one.
Dvorak can play in this league, looked ok.
Jammes- meh
Platzer looked good as did Anderson
Maccarron knows where to go in the O zone. Give him a lil time and hell impress
Connor Rush didnt impress me as much as some others. Skate ok, bad angles, late turns, something put me off. Long defender thou maybe there's something there.
One of the D prospects has to step up.

The next two weeks of practice should go a lot farther in determining who grabs one of the few spots up for grabs than these skates.

Regarding Rush, he certainly didn't blow me away, just caught my eye as an intriguing player that I'd be interested in seeing in a real game situation to get a better idea of what he's able to do. The size and speed were nice.

I'm going to guess 1, maybe 2 of our NHL or JrA option guys gets a look in the show to start the year. Sending panic thru the Knights faithful and great joy and optimism thru the league until a final decision is reached.
Horvat
Domi
Anderson
MacC
Zadarov
Matta
Tierney
Rupert
Stolarz
Left out Broadhurst as he's got AHL option

I'm starting to think 2 ( +\- 1 ) get a look see.... And I'm guessing 1F (most likely- a guy whos had a poster here as a fan since pre draft and really liked him) and maybe a D.
Brace yourselves lol

This morning's scrimmage consisted only of players not likely to make the roster. In fact, I'm quite sure of that. Even still, there was some good young talent on the ice, namely, Defarias, the Kreis brothers, Di Lorenzo--to name just a few.
Big free agent d-man Cooper Rush also saw action this morning which leads me to think he's not in the Hunters' plans.
I'm wondering if I may have erred in stating that Liam Herbst was in goal yesterday. His name was one of three that appeared on the roster sheet for team gold (I believe). Herbst is a southpaw (i.e. catches with his right hand) so I assumed perhaps prematurely that it was Herbst who was between the pipes. He was also wearing an OHL jersey. The same goalie was in net this morning, but "Herbst's" name did not appear on today's roster. Herbst or not Herbst???
Does anyone know if I was mistaken? There's no harm in admitting that I was wrong--even though it would be a first!

McCarron, Platzer and Liberati would be 3 others.

The Free Press said it was 17-an unofficial record-Stolarcz and Platzer are there too and then I'm sure there are a number of tryouts

Broadhurst will probably be back in London - there really isn't room for him in Rockford right now.

That's my guess
