Girls like Grand They Auto. Don't know why, but both the girls I live with play it and the only other games they play are the Sims. Girly girls too, "Why don't you come to the gym/go jogging with me instead of playing video games" girls.

It's weird. Guess crime appeals to everyone.

So I'm assuming local co-op is available? If so, can you and a friend go online together as well?

i wonder sometimes if people played the same san andreas that i played.

i've also never seen so many people complain about a soundtrack holding a game back like in 4. can't say how many times i just turned the radio off while i was playing or even had the tv muted altogether.

True, I played GTA 4 online with more than a few of the females on my Friends list. A lot of them hadn't finished the main story even, they just liked messing around in Free Roam.

10 hours and 25 minutes until it's in my hand.

Not sure I'll have the time to play it though.

I own a video store. Usually I get copies of games and movies 5 days in advance, but as someone told me a few weeks ago, Rockstar didn't want distributors giving the game to businesses until the day before release. Turned out he was right.

Man, this sucks. I really want to get this game, but I'm in my last semester, I'm taking a ton of classes and I can't **** around. If I get this it will eat up all my free (and not free) time. I'll just have to wait until December when I'm all done.

GTA V was the first of my Future Shop order for $40. Just got an email saying it was shipped. It's going to be tough with work but hopefully I'll get a chance to play sometime this week.

Any reviews?

No, but most will be around 9.5-10 with a few giving it an 8 to get extra hits on their site.

Yes, I can confirm that girls like GTA. Actually, many of us (girly girls included) like video games in general .. Not just the "Sims".

I've known people to be obsessed with those games... :.

I'm excited for GTA, but not to the level some have had on here. It's almost like an obsession or something.

One of the guys on my Friends list plays Sims 3 way too much. AND HE'S 50 YEARS OLD! Also a class A camper in CoD games, plants his "equipment" on the ground at spawn and lies there with either a sniper or a LMG.

Seems like almost every legit source is posting their review at 10 am EST today (so 8 hours from now).

I won't be able to play it until Tuesday evening/afternoon. And even then, I can't play a ton. I am only going to get drips and drabs until the weekend when I will veg out hardcore.

Embargo lifts tomorrow, but here are some user impressions, nothing too spoilery.

Sethos: I can't stress this enough; Best ****ing game I have ever played in my entire life. No hyperbole, no weekend crush, it's bat**** insane. It's like a 10/10 TPS in its own right, then you see it has vehicles, then the massive world, then you see it's one of the most beautiful games on consoles, then the distant light thingy / bokeh effect, the RDR weather and atmosphere
Sethos: It's like every single aspect and detail is the best of the best of the best, wrapped into one big ball.
Sethos: I even started to enjoy the driving, EXCEPT quads and bikes, they are WAAAAY to sensitive to enjoy.

About 13% done

By far the best game I've ever played in my entire life. (and i've only finished what, 13%? It's the small details that really make this game shine)

I'm pc gamer too. This game is just too good. GOAT. Without a doubt.

This is one of those rare games for me, where even though I keep failing a mission, I'm very determined to keep playing until I succeed. The gameplay is impeccable.

I'm really regretting getting the Amazon pre-order instead of an in-store pre-order. I need to be productive Tuesday, but the anticipation is going to kill me and I never get packages before 7pm.

The one negative about working from home...distractions everywhere...even when they're not there yet.

Here's hoping it lives up to the absurd hype...it would truly be something to have what would easily be my three favorite games of the generation all come out within six months of each other.
