You will be able to save cars in garages (Like GTA IV parking), and apparently there's going to be a system like in RDR with your horse, except instead of a horse it'll be your car. I take it that means your "saved" car won't disappear if you lets say fail a mission, it's "tied" to you until you switch.

Almost a month away, crazy its getting so close.

Haven't bought a game since NHL 13, but this im am SO pumped for. They definitely went all out this time around since the last one was so stale and a lot of people, including myself, lost interest pretty quickly.

I wonder if the stock market will be directly related to actual actions in the game. For example, stocks in a jewelry store plummet after a massive robbery.

I'm going to play so much golf.

That would be awesome, or maybe stocks in something like Ammu-Nation go up when you buy abunch of guns and ammo, that's a pretty lame example but I can't think of anything else right now

That was my other example.

I haven't been this excited for a video game for a long time.

The problem in my experience with an online mode and large and as dedicated as that is that to get the most out of it you need to spend all of your time on it. Still. Damn.

Looks nuts, thing that gets me the most is that there is just 16 players on that huge map (if I'm reading the text they put out rightly), to have that huge of a space to just, in theory, your friends is insane.

Best part about GTA online is that it doesn't launch until October 1st. Gives us time to finish the story first

Wait, what? October 1st are you kidding me? How is that the "best part"? That's absolutely horrible. I was looking forward to getting online ASAP, waiting 2 weeks is terrible.

Where did you see this? The trailer?

Edit-Just saw on Gamespot.com the Oct 1 date. Wow, thats a major bummer. Baffling that you see it as the best part, really.

This game is combining the best parts of GTA IV and San Andreas. I love it

Doesnt bother me much, I'll be spending months in the story before I get into the online likely.

Well maybe best part wasn't the right terminology to use. But it doesn't really bother me. Rockstar has even said GTA online is not GTA 5...we are only getting access too it through GTA 5..it's a entirely different experience that will branch off and add new things...including even new maps down the road ( way down )

Wouldn't be shocked if it becomes a stand alone game eventually for people who don't get 5

I'm just bummed because I was already planning on hopping online with friends on day 1. Oh well, there will be plenty of other things to do.

I'd rather there be two dates for single player and online. Like opening a completely different world. Not like 2 weeks is a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
