Added one thing for you. It was very disappointing to see the Sharks forwards not bodying up the D when they would go in after a dump in. Kings took every opportunity they could to hit.

I know there's probably no chance but the league really needs to take a look at Brown's ********.

Wingels is completely disengaged with him by the time he hurls himself into Niemi. Thank god niemi got mostly out of the way of that piece of ****.

So Demers played under 4 mins. Re-injured or benched after the penalty?

Tmac had him on a short leash. Also it looks like TJ is back in the doghouse.

They also only ever get knocked out on the road. Some examples: 2008- Game 7 vs CGY win; Game 5 win vs Dallas; 2009- Game 5 win vs Anaheim; 2011- Game 7 win vs Detroit. And every one of those years and any in between from 2008 to now we have been knocked out on road. We will win game 6 on Sunday.
They've lost a few game six's at home that got them eliminated. I feel they will win game six as well but the bottom line is finding a way to win on the road to win this series and they're finding ways to lose on the road.

Agreed.

This thing goes to 7. But don't be surprised if Sharks need OT to win game 6.

If we want to put Couture on the pedestal like people have been doing this season, he's got to take his share of the responsibility and he was poor tonight.
I have absolutely nothing to back this up, but always feels like Couture-Pavelski do not have a lot of chemistry on the same line. Again, just a hypothesis, would be curious to see some actual numbers to support one way or another... and it probably seems amplified since both were underwhelming offensively tonight, along with the majority of the team. Seems to add more fuel to moving Pavs back down to 3rd line center, since Cooch is a fixture in the top 6.

They're banking off of what has mostly been proven chemistry between Marleau and Pavs. Again, the issue with that line is any combination of those two needs a play-maker. I think they need to move Pavs down to the third and bump Gomez up and try it out.

Couture was on the top line in the 3rd. Shep was with Marleau and Pavelski. I think we will see that Sunday and I bet Burish will be in too.

Couture has basically sucked all series. Most of that has to do with matchups, but you'd think he'd be better considering how the media plays him up.

Benched.

TMac running into Wilson's roster depth issues: he can't rely on who's next on the depth chart.

I would like to see a breakdown of what teams Thornton, Marleau, Havlat, Couture, Pavelski, Boyle, Burns, and hell, Ryane Clowe had the most and least success against.

It seems like while Thorton and Couture have the versatility to change, the rest don't. Burns is just doing it by sheer talent; Boyle clearly has lost a step. But it seems like Marleau, Pavelski, and Clowe would be really deadly against some teams and then just quiet against everyone else. Thornton was like that too, but he's shown he can produce against a lot of teams now...

He did a baseball slide and treated Niemi like he was a second baseman

There could be a good Gif of McLellan yelling What was that?! to the refs after that non call

Pav cant do the work to retrieve the puck the way JT can....Pavs sucked tonight..lack of legs and desire....
you are right..Pavs on the 3rd balances everything..

Gali-Thornton-Burns
Marleau-Couture-Sheppard
Wingels-Pavelski-Desi
Kearns-Gomez-Burish

This way the bottom six might not look so damn vulnerable and we might be able to roll 4 lines.

That second line will accomplish absolutely nothing. And what good does it do to play Gomez with people that can't do anything with him?

The Kings top six haven't been able to do all that much
