I am excited for the game tonight, and oddly enough don't feel the least bit worried. I know the Pens will be hungry to end the series quickly, but the Sens will be even hungrier to keep their season alive. There is some amazing character on this team, everyone plays for each other, the young players thrive very well under pressure and the vets like Alfie, Phillips, Spezza and Neil know exactly how to handle these situations. Those four guys did it in 03 against the Devils and almost completed the comeback. They did it again against the Pens in 2010 only to come up short the next game. Mac has done a fantastic job preparing the team all season and I am confident he will have them fired up tonight.

Everyone is already starting their Pens/Bruins previews which is just unacceptable. The Sens can shut them all up temporarily and drag the Pens back to Ottawa for another home game. It's time to be resilient, it's time to play the best game of the series and it's time to be pesky. Let's extend the season!

GO SENS GO!!!!!!

Ottawa Senators,
As you lace up your skates, know that the very essence of tomorrow does not exist without the willingness to scarafice any and all that is demanded of you today. We the SENS Army stand by you and willingly display our devotion on our heads, chest and in our hearts. CHECK them so hard, that they can't tell which is the board and which is the player. SKATE HARD, FAST, RELENTLESSLY. Skate with everything that your bodys can give, till the very muscles and fibers in your body burn, and scream from exhuastion, then skate faster, harder. Let them see in your eyes that you are a caged animal fighting for your very existence. Let them see the passion of the entire Sens Army burning within your souls. Then Senators do it three more times. We ask this of you not simply to win the game, or the cup, but because NO ONE other than the Sens Army beliives that we can. Fight Senators, fight, with everything that you have. Win or lose..Sens Army then, now and forever!!!! GO SENS GO!!!

Maybe one of the reasons he didn't address the press is that he was afraid of what he might say about the officiating.
Are you ****'ing kidding me?

Gryba gets a two game suspension for a perfectly legal hit, while Stone gets injured for 10 weeks and the league didn't even to bother to look at the slewfoot that hurt him?

Tinge of sadness...if this is the end it has been a hell of a season. Has anyone mentioned "lockout"?

Wouldn't mind if the Penguins could indulge us the dignity of death on home ice?

Just throwing it out thier, I think that there will be a questionable hit tonight. I think we'll throw it and it will solidify our hate for Pittsburgh.

I'm ok with this. Just been waiting for it to happen.

EDIT --- If its true.... read following...

Are you really surprised??? Its happened all year this way.

But yeah that sucks about Stone, and sucks he's out because of a ****ing Pens player. Seems really strange that ALL our players get injured by only Pens players.

My state I want to know is how many players are injured while playing the Pens?? Not really, but its annoying.

I hate the Pens... And I want a win tonight, but I'll be happy regardless of this season. Then I hope the Bruins (or if for some shocking changes Rangers) crush them.

I'm actually still mad that the hit from behind by Paul Gaustad that ended Jesse Winchester's NHL career didn't even get a 2 minute penalty, let alone a suspension.

At some point it's going to start hurting our chances in the free agent market, as players don't want to come here because they know they won't be protected by the NHL.
