Here's to closing this off tonight. The Pens almost made Alfie cry the other night. Time to finish him for good.

That is awesome!! Nothing like a live playoff game. Enjoy the game and hopefully they close this one out on home ice for all of you going to the game!

Pens Inside Scoop ‏@PensInsideScoop 59m
#Sens lines Michalek-Spezza-Alfredsson;
Greening-Turris-Condra; Smith-Zibanejad-Silfverberg; Kassian-Pageau-Neil per @SunGarrioch -SK

Putting all their eggs in one basket I guess.

Who wants Sid against Spezza, and who wants Sutter against Spezza?

Gotta feel good about this game, Pens have dominated most of this series, don't see anything changing tonight

Sutter with Orpik and Martin, Even though Sutter is getting blame on this board, i think hes only been on the ice for 2 even strength goals against this playoffs.

I'll take Sid with Orpik and Martin. I sure as **** don't want the Malkin line defending it.

strange that he'd go with Kassian over Conacher and Stone.

I'd get Sid or Geno out against their third line every chance I got. Two rookies and a guy who has only been in the league a year or two. Not exactly Zetterberg & Datsyuk in terms of match-up.

...why not both??

Not a lot of 2-headed monster this series, but I guess score has dictated that some? I'd load up a few times still. You can make competent lines behind them.

Anyhow, DVR set. Won't be catching this loss live, per request. Ya'll are suckers for not going on with your lives tonight, but whatever. Alfie's reverse lock double secret anti jinx probation is going to be our undoing. No sarcasm. We're toast.

Yeah, I was thinking more along those lines. At WORSE they neutralize each other, and I mean once that's done, who else is going to score for the Sens?

honest question: when Vitale and/or Jokinen are in the lineup, which Senators line have put on consistent/sustained pressure?

Lets close this one out tonight. Blysma is 0-6 when the Pens have the chance to close out a series at home. Hope that changes tonight. I also have the DVR set. I'll be up north at the cabin listening to Lange call the game while I'm out boating walleyes!!

I'm pleased to see it starting at 7:30. I thought it was 6:30 initially, which would really jack things up for anyone out west.

Seriously, even if a Genie popped out of a bottle and told me the Pens would lose tonight but win Sunday, I'd still be furious.

It's one thing for the Rags, at HOME to stave off elimination. Happens a lot when a team is about to be swept at HOME and wins that one game before being put out to pasture on the road the next game.

There's no excuses for tonight. In fact, I won't be satisfied completely unless it's a beat down. Sens are begging to be put down, and it's up to the Pens to oblige them and not trick the Sens into thinking they can still win this series.

I wouldn't care, personally. Start with something but if MacLean insists on a certain match-up, let him. I wouldn't do anything to break up the flow at any point. We're starting to click here, so just let them play it out. I have confidence we can end this thing tonight. There really is no reason whatsoever to head back to Ottawa.

Kassian's insertion into the lineup is interesting. Perhaps the only reason MacLean is doing this is with the hope Disco responds by inserting Engelland and/or Glass. That would be dumb but I could see MacLean trying to force Disco into making a change. Smart tactic, I must say.

Disco should just ignore that and let's go.

Reports of Conacher instead of Kassian.

Up 3-1, no comparision for line-ups, seems like a good time to get Fleury back on the horse - any chance?

Tonight I hope that Kunitz and Dupuis can bring a little more at even strength. Sid pretty much has been a one man show out there.

The Ottawa Senators, under my authority, are demanded to suck an egg one last time.

Great work Frederick; sweet looking GDT!
I'd like to close this out tonight, I've got an intimidating looking "honey-do" list for Sunday.

Nice try. We agree so long as you don't put anybody in goal on your end.

Game would still be close.
