After I read this article, I scrolled back up expecting the byline date of April 1. The assertions made in there are quite amusing. It should be noted that Grayson Fertig is not only the author of the article, but the inventor of the net that is the subject of the article. That coupled with Fertig's mathematical and scientific errors casts much doubt upon the conclusions found there.
There's a whiff of pseudoscience about this crystalline lens theory, but I suppose THN is not the Journal of Biomechanics, or whatever. It certainly makes a great deal of intuitive sense; the red highlights the scoring area. It can't hurt.
How does this net proposal suggest that they are not worried about getting hockey going? It is possible to advance many different projects at the same time, if you are somewhat organized.
Exactly. Otherwise, we'll have to wait another couple months while the powers that be waste time discussing which rules and changes they want to implement for the next NHL season. Frankly, I want ALL the matters decided upon ASAP.
looking at the picture it seems i can pick out the net easier and quicker even with the oversized equipment on the goalie. so--- with red netting and downsized goalie equipment we may just have a 1 cure for the game.more to come i hope.
Well, for starters.. what can we as fans do about the CBA? It's quite obvious both sides don't care much. We love the game and this is a hockey forum where everybody has the right to talk anything that concerns.. well.. hockey, thats why.
