The "Chiefs" movie

watched it on the weekend - a lot of laughs even if it was repetitive and a little sad at the end. looked up some of the players on hockeydb - Mike Bajurny, tim Leveque, mike henderson who scored the cup winning goal, Cory Holland of the 2001 Laval Chiefs. Tim leveque - ooooohhhhkkkkk noooww

Anyone seen it?

You talking about that crap with William Baldwin? If you enjoyed that, it gives us all plenty of insight into what goes on in your head.

No, he's not talking about "Slapshot 2," I know that for sure. Not sure what movie he's talking about. Please enlighten us.

I have the DVD. It's interesting to say the least.

It is indeed a documentary - the team is named after the Chiefs of Slapshot fame. The owner is basically selling fights. The movie is not great but seeing the depths to which these guys plummet to simply play semipro is amazing- living in a rundown apartment inside the arena itself; constant fights; lousy life.

its a good look at the life of enforcers in semi-pro hockey, definitely worth watching for any hockey fan.
