After losing Patrick Bordeleau to free agency, the have signed Colton Orr to a one year deal worth $600,000. If you're gonna get a goon, you might as well get a cheap one and Orr is as good as any. Plus he's just scary.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard inks three year deal with St. Petersburg SKA
Former Minnesota Wild right winger Pierre-Marc Bouchard has signed a three year contract with St. Petersburg Ska of the KHL, his agent announced today. The 29 year old forward is believed to be receiving $1.5 million per season in the deal. The deal does include an NHL out-clause, if Bouchard signs a deal with an NHL team then he can opt out of his contract.
