Heights and weights are measured at the testing, which begins Friday I believe. There is no drug testing at the combine.

Ive been at the combine all week sitting outside getting autographs and there are 2 guys with arms in a sling. Hartman is one and I forget the other one. Nurse looks fine and Barkov does too. I mean there is no splints or casts on them.

Cool! Any good stories? Anyone particularly cool to talk to?

Habs interviewing Duclair, Mantha and Dauphin.. hope it's just PR moves. Dauphin I'll be -ok- with.. the other two, do not want.

I can understand Duclair, but what's wrong with Mantha? Aren't you guys drafting pretty low?

Absolutely nothing wrong with Mantha. With the 25th pick, we would be lucky if he's still there actually.

I hope they interview every single player at the combine. They have a pretty bloated front office, so it shouldn't be completely impossible logistically.

Is there any place to find out which teams are interviewing which prospects? I'm sure the Panthers will be interviewing MacKinnon, Drouin & Jones but I'd like to see who else they are interviewing for potentially their 2nd round pick (or if they decide to trade up into the late 1st round).

Your best bet is honestly asking the prospects via their twitter accounts.

We need to change the culture in Montreal. We're not re-signing Ryder, why should we draft a taller Ryder? Mantha might've scored goals in the Q but it's not like he uses his frame to any sort of advantage. Just not a fan.

No, but there can be a lot of trading so teams will often interview guys to get a feel in case they want to move up or down.

Did you get any good auto's? I was thinking of going but it's hot (and rainy yesterday) and you have to wait outside. Btw, what do you actually get autograph'd? I know most of these guys don't have any cards for them minus some who have ITG cards.

Yeah Tuesday and Wednesday it really had some good rains but we just go into Subway and wait it out. I rarely talk to the players for a extended time as there usually like 20+ people getting autos so I get my stuff and move out of the way. I got 6 pucks this week. Valeri Nichushkin, Elias Lindholm, Seth Jones (Mem Cup puck),Jonathan Drouin (mem cup puck) , Nathan MacKinnon (mem cup puck), Seth Jones (portland puck). I got over 110 cards. Some are H&P and Between the Pipes cards for prospects. I got alot of the scounts and GMS etc on cards too this week. Patrick Roy was out back today and signed 1 per. Yzerman ........ was Yzerman and didnt sign. got bout 20 on photos. I got all 3 Halifax guys on 1 photo and I got Jones-MacKinnon- Drouin on another pic. I make up logo sheets with a piece of photo paper with the 2013 NHL draft logo in the corner and I got 98 of the 101 prospects to sign on 5 of them (I try to have about 20 on each one. I got everyone in the top 30 to sign but that Pavel guy I didn`t see all week). Jones and MacKinnon and Drouin all signed multiples but I get them on different things like pucks and photos and cards and logo sheets not 10 of the same pic like some do. To each there own as long as I get my autos best of luck to them too getting there`s.

Buffalo's Kevin Devine (Director of Amateur Scouting) said they interviewed 75 of the invitees at the combine, including the two WNY kids Justin Bailey and Sean Malone. They'll also work out (on-ice testing) around 75 prospects (approximately 30-40 invitees from the combine, plus others) at First Niagara Center next week. [Source]

Sounds like Jones, Mackinnon and Drouin won't participate in the fitness testing.

No workouts this AM for Jones, Drouin or MacKinnon. Not too surprising.
