Or what about some other good AHL players that would be good to help out the teams???

David Ling ST Johns-Sniper
Rob Collins Bridgeport-Goal scorer and playmaker
Jeff Hamilton Hartford-Goal Scorer even with vision from one good eye
Lonny Bohonos Chicago-veteran and can put the puck in the net
Lee Goren Manitoba-power forward
Matt Ellis Grand Rapids-PK specialist and defensive player
Greg Zanon Milkwaukee-Solid stay at home defenseman was near tops in +/- a year ago
David Gove-30 points a year in Utah and now with Providence

Nne of them will help out nor make the Dallas Stars squad. Such guys will make Iowa better but I'm not sure what their roster will look like at the moment..

Expecting Miettinen, Daley, Ott and Ellis to make the Stars. That could potentially leave:

- Jussi Jokinen
- Joel Lundqvist
- Yared Hagos
- Matt Nickerson
- Dan Jancevski
- Vojtach Polak
- Dan Ellis

.. amongst others..

It is going to be nice if they really stick with a youth movement and stay commited to them regardless how tough the season might be.

However there might be pressure to hit it off from the start in Iowa, so there could be a little more sprinkling of proven AHL talent on board until then.

Good to see Matt finally get some notice. He had a great year this year, but he is a Redwings prospect and is still under contract with the organization, so he probably wont be going anywhere, especially after the season he had.
