I'm still going to be so sad when it happens. It'll be like the book all over again... at least this time i'll have people who I can share my pain with.

I can't wait to see Sansa die so I don't have to read any more of her terrible chapters

You're going to be waiting a long time, then.

Sansa gets interesting once she gets out of KL. She's got potential.

I really dislike Robb and Jon in the show.

Too bad Jon lasts until Book 6, at least. To be honest, I wouldn't even be disappointed if he didn't come back to life.

Yes and No I guess. She takes care of Robert mostly though. I guess she is still "learning" but she has yet to do anything really. We'll see. Any other series I'd say she'd be the one to eventually take down LF, but in this series she'll probably make it to almost the end then just die for absolutely no reason with a random death that makes no sense

I think Sansa will eventually become the ruler of Winterfell. I think one of the lords of the Vale will eventually have enough of Littlefinger and kill/banish him through force. Sansa will then of course reveal herself for who she is.

This or Arya kills her via a contract through the house of black and white. Pretty sure GRRM has it in him to off another Stark to make it an even 4 (not including Jon)

What makes you guys think Arya would kill her? Pure speculation?

Arya killing her would never happen. Faceless Men don't kill people they know. If she accepted the contract (which I don't think the FM would give her in the first place), she would never kill her, it would just be a pretext to get back to Westeros

I am looking forward to the snow castle scene

Although, she will be about 6' 2" by then. Might look weird.

Just let the Starks be lol, I mean they have suffered enough haven't they? It is time for their resurrection.

Any theories about Talisa? So many wild ones out there right now. Especially with BF going to RW.

Writing is not GRRM's problem. Perhaps editing is? See for example this article from his comments at the recent ConQuesT 44 in Kansas City:

Quote:
As mentioned, the reading is from the upcoming The World of Ice and Fire book. Recently, this was reported as being delayed till Fall 2014. George said it would be out "next spring." Grain of Salt . . .

For this book, he was supposed to write 50,000 words - he wrote 250,000. The extras have been put in a file for a project they are now calling the "GRRM - arillion." Way down the road.

The premise of the "World" book is that it is a copy of a tome presented to Robert just after the Rebellion. The "article" he read was written by a Maester Glyndon. Glyndon distilled his work from three other accounts of the conquest: one from a septon, one from a Grand Maester, and one from "The Tales of Mushroom" a court fool. George actually wrote all three of these pieces as well.

"The Princess and the Queen" is a tale of the Dance of the Dragons that will appear in the anthology Dangerous Women. He turned in 80,000 words, which was edited down to 30,000.

He would like to do 5 or 6 more Dunk and Egg stories. The first 3 are to be released as a collection next spring.

Walder Frey is the annoying little kid in "The Mystery Knight."

Varys' little birds do have their tongues cut out. They are "provided to him" that way.

After starting a re-read of Game of Thrones, am I the only one who thinks the first book was a lot more concise in content than the later books? Doesn't seem to me like there is much in the way of extravagant detail, which seems to plague FfC and DwD.

Sansa is so unassuming and seemingly naive that I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be a complete ball buster. It would be great if she turns the tables on Littlefinger who is really one of the worst characters in the series.

Davos Seaworth is pretty moralistic. I keep waiting for the chop to really fall on him.

They were always opposites anyways. Or, perhaps Arya will kill Littlefinger and free her sister. Then they bond.

Sansa is slowly figuring out that she's full of ****. At the end of the day she just isn't as sharp as the other major players. I've never liked her much, she comes across as an entitled brat for a long time, IMO.

Well right now Sansa is learning the 'game' from Little Finger, and according to him she's learning it fairly well. So it comes down to a matter of if/when she cuts the puppet strings and starts playing for herself that things could get interesting. She's close to a position of being able to claim the loyalty and strength of the Vale, one of the few 'Kingdoms' in Westeros that is still at full strength, while at the same time uniting it with what strength is left in the North and possibly the Riverlands.

The big thing we should see next is who exactly this Harry Potter kid is that would inherit the Vale if brave young Robin were to pass away.
