OHL COACH Of The Year

This one should be good !

Is there even such an award for OHL Coach of the Year ?

If you no one is even close to Krish Knoublach of ERIE

This guy will either be coaching in the AHL or NHL within 2 years !!

Feel free to provide any other candidates !!!!

Yes, it's called the Matt Leyden Trophy.

It's between Knoblauch, Keefe (SSM), and Smith (OSH) at this point imo.

Good choices but Walker ( Guelph coach? I like the aggressive style ) will also be in the hunt and whoever wins the west may just get it.
Windsors done well with what they have and London's had a year that's tough to coach but both those aren't in the final conversation.
I like what Keefe has accomplished- no slight on any others

I think the 4 likely to be in the running have already been mentioned. I'll place them in this order but arguments could be made for any of the candidates.

Keefe
Knoublach
Smith
Walker

For me, this starts and ends with Knoblauch. He coached a non-playoff team last year and they're now 39-10 or something? You can have the talent on your roster, but to put it together to this extent is seriously impressive.

Fixter for putting up with ownership, that's gotta be a trophy itself.

I am partial to Sheldon Keefe and yes some of it has to do with the work he did last year that wasn't recognized. Well he's doing it again this year. Since he's taken over with the Soo he probably has the 2nd best winning % among every coach in the OHL during that time. He should be rewarded for that success.

I nearly gagged when you said Smith until I saw the "(OSH)" beside it. I can relax now that I know Troy isn't in the running.

58-25-2-7 since he took over last year. Hounds were an under .500 club at the time. Gets my vote
