Teddy Doherty, D, and Patrick Brown, F, play for Boston College. Doherty's bio includes a note, which gives an idea of why attending Toronto's camp. Patrick Brown is the son of former NHLer Doug Brown.

I'm guessing more invites will come out tonight and tomorrow, post-draft. Will wait to update the main post.

@fornabaioctp NYR prospect camp meanwhile includes Brock Beukeboom, former Yale G Jeff Malcolm, RPI/former NDWH D Luke Curadi, Greenwich's Luke Esposito

Obviously, Beukeboom already knew about, but a few more for NYR camp.

Luke Curadi, F, RPI/NCAA
Luke Esposito, F, Chilliwack/BCHL
Jeff Malcolm, G, Yale/NCAA

Seems that Kurt Etchegary is going to the Avs camp.

Jean-Sébastien Dea will have to choose between Habs and Pens.

Here's a more complete NYR camp roster without today's picks and free agent invite Tolchinsky; tried to do a quick update to the first post, but hope a NYR fan takes a look and confirms for me; I know a few picks of other teams on there and I didn't have time to confirm in a couple of cases whether acquired via trade or went unsigned and FA. Again, see the list in first post, I know it's not complete, but it's a first shot.

Franky Palazzese ‏@fpalazzese32 22m
Very excited to fly out to Edmonton tomorrow for the @EdmontonOilers development camp!! #cantwait

Cody Nickolet ‏@WHLFromAbove 1h
As per @TPS_Guy, Tri-City Americans F Connor Rankin has been invited to attend Pittsburgh Penguins development camp.
Cody Nickolet ‏@WHLFromAbove 1h
Sorry, it sounds like Rankin has actually been invited to Penguins training camp in the fall, not development camp.

The Goalie Guild ‏@TheGoalieGuild 5m
Expect USHL standout Charlie Lindgren to attend an NHL development camp this month.

Is Tolchinksky actually a FA invite and able to be signed or will he go into next years draft?

Preliminary Roster.

Invitees:
### – Scott Sabourin – free agent signing by Manchester (AHL) in 2013

"If a third goalie is desired, it will probably be German netminder Mathias Niederberger, who spent the last two seasons with the Barie Colts in the OHL."

Based on the last CBA, Tolchinsky could sign with somebody from now up until the OHL regular season starts, even though he has remaining draft eligibility. This is how the Sharks signed Michael Sgarbossa, ditto the Kings with Martin Jones. If Tolchinsky doesn't sign by the the start of the OHL season, then he'd go back into the draft pool for 2014.

It was a weird loophole for players who played in North America. The same loophole didn't apply for prospects who had played the previous season in Europe. Czech defender Radko Gudas was given an invite to the Kings prospect camp in the summer of 2009 and really impressed. But the Kings weren't allowed to sign him to a deal like they did previously with Martin Jones. Gudas then went in the 3rd round in 2010. Similarly the Flyers really liked Tomas Hyka in 2011 and actually tried to sign him to a contract since Hyka was going to play in the QMJHL. But the NHL wouldn't allow the deal because Hyka played the previous year in Europe--He eventually re-entered the 2012 Draft and ended up going to LA I think.

Sorry, I didn't post this sooner. I looked late last night (so need to read it again when I'm more alert, but looked to me like the language didn't change and the rules are still different for under 22yo non-NA based players, another example from last summer was Nathan Walker attending the Caps camp, but ineligible to be signed last summer because at the time he was non-NA based. Anyway, it's still 8.9 in the CBA.

Also, technically, it's as long as the player is under tryout contract attending the NHL camp up until the start of the NHL season, even if the CHL season has started. It's start of CHL season if player not on tryout contract with NHL club.

Interesting, I wonder how interested the Rangers are in signing him. Lot of skill but tiny and probably some other things that scared teams off?

source in French also includes a note about Nikolas Brouillard attending SJS rookie camp in September, but that's for a different thread/later time.

Addition:

As rosters are released take a look at information already included in the first post. There will be new FA invites information, but some will already be identified here.

NYR: July 1-5
Edmonton: July 2-9

Anaheim: July 3-8, Eric Stephens reported org. is finalizing details and should release info. soon

Montreal: July 3-7; website indicates that roster should be released today.
Ottawa: July 3-10

Then next two camps known to start soon are Saturday, July 6: Philadelphia and Tampa Bay.

Avs prospect camp is in week (I believe it starts this Friday or Saturday), but is again closed off to the public and is only off ice training. It includes workout schedule and how to become a pro advice from the Avs.
