Much simpler.
I could get on board with this. Seeing as Colorado's pick is essentially a 2 nd rounder.

Yeah, a swapping of seconds or thirds would be about right. It'll likely be a 10-20 spot jump for van. I don't think booth is worth moving 40-50 spots unless its for a 5th or below. We need all the 1-3 rounders we can get right now.

Value is pretty close. I appreciate the fair approach. If I was Vancouver though it might be smarter to keep Booth because he has only 2 years left on deal, while Jones has 3. I would say Jones is probably a better bet health wise, but Booth has more upside.

At first I thought you were talking about Seth Jones... I would of done that in a heart beat...

I'd rather keep Booth. He doesn't need a fresh start, he just needs to be healthy. He was on pace for 25 goals with us in his first season, and this season was just a write off due to injuries. We give him one more year, if he works out, great. If he doesn't, buyout/trade.

I don't know much about Jones, but from his stats, he doesn't have as much upside as Booth. Only way I'd deal Booth for Jones is if the Avs put more in, and not swap 8 high round picks.

Still two draft picks too complicated

Both are struggling so with that being said I'd rather keep Booth's speed and drive over Jones.

Lol I had too. This thread is between two old rivals n it was quite pedestrian. So I thought I'd give it a wild twist and see if **** would stick to the wall.
Obviously wasn't very good I know that. I figured if I threw in the two players the Avs fans want gone most would actually consider it for half a second. Even tho in the right roles Jones and Zanon could be very useful for Vancouver. A shot blocking bottom pair guy could replace Ballard's role at half the cost and Jones could see some solid time on the 3rd line and possible 2nd unt PP if he can regain some of that offensive output.

But than they go but the #1. N it goes to 0.
